The Priest is a divine full/point caster aiming to be the back line divine caster to the clerics' versatility and the paladin's front line focus.

They use point casting up until 5th level spells, allowing them to perform many smaller 'miracles' instead of the rigid spell slot levels, and call upon the aid of their gods for higher level spells (same scaffolding as Alternate Sorcerer)
Priests also have two 'subclasses', Method of Worship at 1st level which grants a spellcasting focus and spell modifications, and Divine Callings at 2nd level, based on different types of priests through myth and fantasy (cultists, oracles, judges, etc) which is closer to the more standard subclasses seen in 5e

Any criticism or spot checking would be lovely

my initial question/concern is to the scaling of the spell points.
It feels... wrong?
Like the scaling/progression is off.

I can see you're looking at using warlock as a base, but long rest, and so fullcaster progression till 10th.

But if you can tell me what the intent is, I can run it through my "all the spell stuff" calculator and figure out the progression for ya

I will play with some stuff in a bit over lunch, cos llama seems to have like... used warlock as a base, then just added 2 points every other level for some reason.
And it doesn't scale like other casting, which is why it hits my brain off I think xD

at 10th would have 64 points

1st: 4 * 2 = 8
2nd: 3 * 3 = 9
3rd: 3 * 5 = 15
4th: 3 * 6 = 18
5th: 2 * 7 = 14
8 + 9 + 15 + 18 + 14 = 64

#

at 20th would have 133 points

1st: 4 * 2 = 8
2nd: 3 * 3 = 9
3rd: 3 * 5 = 15
4th: 3 * 6 = 18
5th: 3 * 7 = 21
6th: 2 * 9 = 18
7th: 2 * 10 = 20
8th: 1 * 11 = 11
9th: 1 * 13 = 13
8 + 9 + 15 + 18 + 21 + 18 + 20 + 11 + 13 = 133

#

sacred arcanum is the equivalent of 43 points

6th: 1 * 9 = 9
7th: 1 * 10 = 10
8th: 1 * 11 = 11
9th: 1 * 13 = 13
9 + 10 + 11 + 13 = 43

#

20th (133) - sacred arcanum (43) = 90

#

(the extra 26 coming from the second 6th and 7th level slots, and the 3rd 5th level slot)

#

instead of going up to 90 though (or 71 and second sacred arcanums for 6th/7th), with the versatility provided in point casting being a boon already, I think the slower rise up ending on 75 is a pretty nice way of doing things

I feel like this would be the relevant info.
Standard Warlock
Warlock Points short rest (straight translation)
Warlock Points Long rest (1 short rest)
Warlock Points Long rest (2 short rests)
Warlock Points Long rest (Fullcaster Points reduced by Arcanum value) - Which I feel like might be the way to go
then fullcaster and cost for reference
