#Adaptive Pressure Advance - What accelerations to test against?

I have an X1C. Instructions say a good starting point for what acceleration and speeds to test against are:

Accelerations: 1k, 2k, 4k
Print speeds: 50mm/sec, 100mm/sec, 150mm/sec, 200mm/sec.

The instructions continue giving other examples of Accelerations:

Accelerations: 1k, 2k, 4k, 6k

and

Accelerations: 1k, 2k, 4k, 8k, 12k

So I have two questions:

  1. For the X1C, what's accels and speeds are suggested? I ask because my general settings has a max accel set at 10k.
  2. I've seen some screenshots of people doing 1k-16k, incementing by 1k up to 16k. Does that provide better data to work with? Should I actually be testing against 1k-10k?
