#Max volumetric speed broken?

After slicing, I noticed that there are areas in my prints where the volumetric speed is higher than where I set it. (Filament settings>Volumetric speed limitation>Max volumetric speed)
Help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

nope its working. It would help in general if you always post your project file and a screenshot of the problem

its the flow ratio

#

It appears taht the "flow cap" is calcuated before the flow ratio is applied - so in your case it bumps it up by 10%

aaah interesting

Typically you dont have over 1 flow so it doesnt matter bt its a bug nonetheless, but a low priority one to address

Thanks for the help!

#

I'm working with some transparent PETG so that's why 🙂

ah taht makes sense. Just reduce your flow cap by 10% and you're good

interestingly it seems like it's still just a touch above 10. probably not enough to make any difference though

Nope wont make any difference at all...

obviously I just need to keep an eye on it, but it does make me wonder what else is affecting it.

#

9*1.07=9.63

Slide the horizontal slider around and it will show you the flow rate for that line. The color coding isn’t helpful. Also you can press C on your keyboard to hide the gcode preview - in most cases it’s unnecessary

Thanks for the tips 🙂
