I'm trying to figure out why I can't slice anything too complex. The issue occurs in both orca and bambu but not in super slicer.
2921 This is the issue i commented on regarding it, but there are many other reports. I am going to try to consolidate them all into a list. So far i saw:

This one doesn't specifically have a log referencing the issue but it is memory related and likely similar, this goes back to 1.70 at least it seems:

In this issue, there was a 0xc0000005 issue thrown, but it says the solution was that it only crashed when the camera stream was active?

I made this thread to track any progress I might make. I am trying your master branch and will run tests, add some error handling, etc. Hopefully I stay ambitious on this task, and solve it 😆

Okay so after reading MANY issues, I have concluded we need better error handling for one 😆

Good news at least for me, enabling compatibility mode partially solved my problem, and i'm now able to slice most files. (though I still did see 2 crashes)
