We know this game is fully connected to crypto and that's why we have a lack of content so would be amazing if you were able to make a version of the game that its not connected to crypto and can get more guns more skins more stuff in the game and get more maps and more events if you guys did that you would. Make more money and more people would play it

i see more like certain things that have been done with respect to the crypto aspect (unfortunately necessary) may have.. like separate markets and testnet.. but those things cannot have been helped.. peoples lack of knowledge of basic economics is another tangential cause of problems that cannot be helped

People don’t want to play crypto /nft games I never hear anything good . Otg could have done something but the players that left are not coming back and People that might of played think they going to get scammed or something .
I’m a ps5 player and can’t trade , they promised something would happen end of 2025 but nothing. I been paying pro since console launch but I have cancelled next months payment due to no change. If crypto was just a payment option and emphasis was not on the nfts that would have worked . It’s hard not to be bitter after spending £150 or about and I’m stuck with nfts I can’t do anything with

But at least you still have things you can sell eventually instead of items in a centralized marketplace with no chance of ever reaching the speculative non-player public. There are people who own OTG NFTs who have never even played the game. No other game in the world has that.

Don't you realize that the problem isn't with the crypto/NFT aspect itself, but rather with how badly they implemented it? For months, nothing was accomplished; it was all just empty promises. That's why many people left.

Yeah your right . I sell bp from arc raiders that I don’t actually own . The crypt is not available on console. If they said it will never come to console and only pc I could respect that but as a console player it’s super annoying. The game is fun separate from the crypto thing and that’s something otg has in . I want them to succeed but it’s been 18 months now . I just want to see a change any change.

Yeah the console thing is a real one and honestly that's a legit frustration separate from the crypto debate entirely. If mainnet isn't coming to console soon just say that, the ambiguity makes it worse. And 18 months is a long time to just want ANY visible progress.

@rugged forge kinda nailed it too. Crypto itself isn't the problem, it's how it's been used and communicated as a value prop. The gaps in timing and comms just made it feel like a carrot on a stick rather than an actual feature. When the delivery doesn't match the pitch people lose faith fast... even crypto natives who are used to the chaos need to see something actually moving. All this can be resolved and I do think they are aware of the how things have played out so far, but onus is really on them to explain and deliver the value prop of crypto as honestly as possible from now on.

I think the whole point of mainnet is literally getting console and pc parity - I also think they severely underestimated what it is like to launch a mainnet. It's pretty damn difficult.

Man you’re right. Making the cryptocurrency aspect of the game a 3rd party option where you can link your OTG account and move your assets back and forth would have been the way to go. This game is never seeing mainstream adoption just because it is linked to cryptocurrency. Even now getting the necessary infrastructure set for console would take yearrrssssss if it ever happens. Game will be dead long before that happens.

Idk why a small studio with no prior success would even dream to attempt such an impossible task 😂 it’s comical to say the least.

True but wrong timing in my opinion 🤷🏽‍♂️ NFT’s were hot in 2021. They might make a comeback but that’s why having the NFT as a 3rd party option would have been the perfect balance. The game is solid then in addition now you can turn your items into NFT’s and trade them or buy NFT’s and convert into real in-game items

That way anyone not interested can just ignore that aspect cause other successful franchises can easily add NFT’s to their already successful projects once it becomes a thing.

A one map extraction royale with bot lobbies doesn’t even cut it in 2026. I’m shocked this game is still having some traction.

The crypto side is 1 thing that keeps me hooked and besides that the game is too damn good. It's addictive and it's exciting..

Because of the NFTs my account is worth way way way more then I payed for the PRO subscription. I would never subscribe to this game if it was not web3. And yes I am also a Playstation player. I am still on testnet. But eventually we will migrate to main net and I can start trading with my collection that I have build in the months that I have played. I never stopped believing.

Well yeah I can only speak for myself. . I loved the game but the nfts kept me grinding the game after it stopped being fun. I’m probably an old guy compared to a lot of you guys , I’m in my 40s and the nft thing was exciting to me lol . I have a loose understanding but am no expert.
I started getting worried when deadlines were being missed and then updates not put in at all .

Well yeah i got kids and a job so the time i have to game is precious. Otg is not respecting players time at the moment but hopefully in the future more gets added to it because i love the game but had enough of playing the same map with the same people. I been playing arc raiders now thats a great extraction . I also just got marathon, i know lot of people dont like it but I really enjoying it
