#Feedback regarding Momentum Conservation during Slide-to-Dodge transitions

As demonstrated in the attached clip, initiating a dodge while currently in a 'slide' state causes an abrupt halt to player velocity. This sudden deceleration interrupts the locomotion loop and forces the player to reset to a sprint to regain momentum.

Suggestion: I recommend allowing the dodge mechanic to act as a momentum extender when triggered during a slide. This would allow players to chain a slide into a dodge boost without breaking fluidity. This change would significantly enhance the pacing of both traversal and combat, rewarding high-skill movement.

Reproduction Steps: "1. Sprint -> 2. Slide -> 3. Press Dodge while sliding -> 4. Observe momentum stop."

Surprised I haven’t really thought of this, this would 100% improve the flow of combat
