I’m not a fan of trios and I’ll always prefer solos, purely because of having full control over the match. That said, I agree with you that there aren’t enough players to sustain three different modes, but personally I’d prefer that, for a period of time, there were only Solo Ranked and Solo Casual. Everyone can play solo at any time; not everyone can always have a team online at that moment to play “seriously"
it has been repeatedly shown, even by the people begging for solos that no one really plays the mode. Unfortunate as it is, the game really needs to condense it's playerbase right now.
Honestly, when I play, I play solos. And I might be wrong, but it felt like I was finding more real players in solo than in trio ranked. I admit I haven’t played a lot in this update, but that’s purely because my sensitivity settings are messed up, which doesn’t allow me to have decent fights against good players, and because of the boredom of fighting bots that randomly melt you.
But I understand I’m part of the 0.01% of the playerbase, so personal preferences aside, I’d adapt to whatever they experiment with, as long as it’s fun .And if the solution to getting full player lobbies again is to keep only trios, I’d adapt and try to build the chemistry needed with my clanmates. But again in my opinion , only solos would be better
Just remove ranked period imo keep solos add dm n ll back games was funner pre patch impo
I mean it's not really even ranked so just scrap that tbh
This or just make everyone play the 1 server in ranked based on peak times
I agree with the suggestion to stick to a single trio mode at the moment. However, I suggest extending the period where new players are matched together. Currently, they are moved into high-skill lobbies too quickly, which discourages them from continuing to play
Fr that is the best solution I think but the problem is the ping
I think the game has become much more fun with the latest patch. Merging the servers might be better for ranked mode; this could be done temporarily, or another solution is needed.
Or maybe should start doing some marketing pls ⏰
Ranked should be available for a few hours per day (peak timeslot for each server)
Or a better idea everything is merged into solos.that way lobbies fill quickly and game isn’t overwhelming for new players
Everyone cries for solo’s, BUT YALL AINT EVER IN SOLO’S. I say majors idea is the best one. All yall that scream and whine for solos never play it when it’s here so piss on solos
Go play it in a custom match so you can play the 5 solo matches you’ll play all year
I'm always in solos... I'm averaging third place with a 4KD in solos..
We are enjoying solos just fine actually. I mean that’s the reason your lobbies aren’t getting filled. The player count is low and the rest of us playing solos.
so the 3 people that i fight in solos are the reason there arent 4 teams in casuals? sounds bout right
I think that’s just because the playbase is low. The initial hype of something different has worn off. We will probably have bot lobbies till full release cause this game put so much focus on NFTs (after nft’s hype died) and people only have so much time to play games. To make it worse battle royals are a dying genre for now. Extraction shooters and survival games have been modded for casual players and they are more fun to play. “JUST MY OPINION”
This update came a bit too late. If we pulled this update before ARC raiders came into the world , back then we had many players and they would all love the new features. I'm afraid only main net will bring people back
The truth is that this game is starting to wear people out far too quickly, especially when compared to other recent gameplay concepts, like Arc Raiders, which has managed to bring together a huge number of players across all consoles, platforms, and gaming communities.
This type of game, this specific formula, has simply become tiring. You can only enjoy it up to a certain point: you drop into the map, set up your loadout, and go hunting for kills. That loop gets old fast—especially when the in-game economy is as broken as it is now.
Veteran players already own everything, so there’s no real incentive for them to open Hex’s anymore. New players, on the other hand, struggle to even participate meaningfully. Competing against long-time players is extremely difficult, and earning enough Gunz to afford a decent loadout has become harder than ever, since gun rewards have been drastically reduced. It’s easy to understand why new players find it hard to enjoy the game. Starting from scratch today is genuinely punishing.
On top of that, the market is completely unclear. There’s no proper guidance on which items actually have value, which ones are rare, or what’s worth keeping or selling, unless you spend time on discord and external resources doing your own research.
As a result, even long-time players are starting to struggle to enjoy the game. No matter the time of day, you mostly run fights filled with inexperienced players and bots. If you want to play seriously, you always end up facing the same 30–40 skilled players, most of whom are on PC and naturally benefit from that advantage.
Honestly, the game is starting to feel stale. There hasn’t been a new map in over a year—we’ve been playing on the same one forever. And the new modes that were introduced didn’t really add anything meaningful to the core experience.
Overall, it feels like the game has lost momentum, both for newcomers and for veterans.
You're right about Hex and the game economy. There's too much supply, which is a big problem. That's why they brought in conversion, but I don't think that will solve the problem; other formulas are needed to fix the economy. More burning is needed. The game is fun, I have no problem with that, but the only boring thing is playing with the same players all the time, and usually there are bots in the lobbies. That's why I said more marketing is needed. And honestly, a few hours of play time would be better for ranked for now.
