Ever since the new update, shooting my guns (except snipers i guess) feels very inconsistent. That, along with the crosshair being untrustworthy (#1449521680144928798 message) makes me think something is very wrong with it. It's a lot harder to deal meaningful damage if people are actively running, and I don't know if it's due to hit registration, maybe whole aiming redesign has some flaw. I'm aware this post doesn't really point in a concrete direction but I've spoken to a couple of people and every single one shared my sentiment.
#Gunplay feels off

for the other thread you posted there was a problem found with the hit reg at really close ranges that was hotfixed and shouldn't be a problem anymore for the rest we'll have to wait for the team to look into it see if anything is causing a problem
good to know about the hotfix, also just wanna know if its a me issue or a community wide issue with this post
i am honestly not sure i do feel like something is off with a lot of the weapons but not sure if everyone is feeling the same or we're just washed XD
Yeah its very... hard to pinpoint. No matter which TTK the game used to be, i could roughly tell how much damage im dealing in a fight, but now i feel like it's very inconsistent, shots that should have hit are not hitting, sprays tickle people just feels like something is very off
yup i've flagged it to the devs already we'll wait and see what they find
@winged sand that is what I am talking about
Gunplay feels off to me aswell, feels like half my bullets are not registering with most guns
Agree
Agree as well
Same here. There are instances where I empty a whole mag into enemies face close range with no effect. As you mentioned a moving enemy is now extremely hard to hit or to register a hit to be exact. Was not like this pre update but it was like this just after the last big update.
when did you try this? after the maxigun hotfix by about 30 minutes there was a hotfix to hit reg
I think i experienced the same inconsistency. It was with a bot even at close range, shots wasn't registering, or maybe just my aim 🤷♂️
Haven't tried it after the hot fix. Will report back this evening when I get on. Glad to see a lot of the players reporting this and know I am not loosing my mind. 🙂
you aren't hopefully it's better now and it will be looked at more as well to make sure there aren't problems with the rest of the weapons
It feels really strange. It's not realistic at all.
2 issues at play
1 - there mighe be bugs, since the changes that took place were huge, and seeing Stink's videos, it'd be foolish to assume immediately that everything is cool now
2 - the hitboxes got real (effectively - smaller) as previously there was this whole "bonus area" to the side of the character that still granted a hit "because shots originated from the gun" (now from camera) but actually you got hits 'with both' before - so this part is working as intended, and it'd naturally make accuracies go lower and increase TTK
Yep there's some bugs we're fixing up for the next patch to correct these, will keep you noted
As Alpha said with point 2, we changed to Shoot From Camera (it's in the patch notes) but there were some issues we hadn't discovered in time. We're working on fixes now
@upper fog
crosshair isnt even centred
@flat night this is what I was just talking about
A small example of the gameplay with Tap 9. Whatever was done to the crosshair and shooting needs to just be reverted until it's fixed.
I thought I was just missing with the tap 9 💀
ya same for me. everything feels off on gunplay.
I adjusted my sense settings and the gunplays better than ever for me...
This thread is irrelevant now, they've fixed whatever was wrong.
