I would like to clarify that I am not talking about the NFTs in this post. This is directed towards the rarity or total amount of collectible/event items. Again, it’s not about the nft aspect but the item amount itself.
I have noticed a lot of people constantly asking, “how many of x items?”.
I think implementing some sort of event spoils tab that showcases the total amount of each item decoded while the event is live. It only counts up to 250 or for collectibles the hard limit set. This is a double edge sword as when the collectibles show the limit has been reached people might not try an extract event hexes anymore. On the other side, people seeing things are still sub 250 or collectibles limit hasn’t been reach. They might try harder to get hexes.
Regardless, showcasing this data is useful to the player base and does align with the event content or premises of hexes themselves. From the lore perspective (coming from the current cinematic videos), hexes are a delicacy in themselves and the event hexes are the top echelon of these delicacies.
This is also free social media engagement. You will already be collecting the data to be used in-game. That same data can be turned into a witty/satirical tweet. Not only that data but that sub data such as event hexes extracted. The luckiest zero who has hit the most high rarity items etc
