I took the time and came up with an alternative UI design. It may help to have a discussion about what exactly needs to be improved and how. I think it’s great to gather feedback from the community and show the team our vision of how it should look like. I know the design isn’t perfect, but I’d like to share it anyway to keep the conversation going. Thoughts?

I like whatchu got going there especially the name drop 🥹 I personally like a minimalistic HUd so a removal of the arena stats and just the name of who’s being hunted works. The weapon side looks good, would go tighter tho and slip the armor-stim-backpack underneath the name to give the armaments more space but you got it. Do want a job with Gunzilla lol

The thing is: I'm just one dude. I don't have millions, I don't have a team, I just did that in like an hour or so in my spare time. Imagine what could be done in just one week if you assembled a capable team and committed some resources... 🤯

Minimalism is a very good point. I'm also a fan of that, especially in a game that's fast paste like OTG. There's so much going on all the time, the UI needs to be as simple to make everything comprehensible as quick and easy as possible. But there are also so many information to communicate to the user all the the. As a result there are always a lot of information on the screen, we can't really do much about that unfortunately. But we can improve HOW this information is presented. Overall, I think making it a bit tighter is a good suggestion. Let's see what I can do about that 🤔👍

So I moved a couple of things around, scaled down the icons a little bit, and made the curve a bit less noticeable. Overall, I thinks this is pretty solid for like 1 1/2h of work.

If you agree, share this and and make sure the team sees this so they can use this as an inspiration for further improvements. As I said before, would be great if they could integrate community feedback and make the game better FOR US, the users. I mean, in the end we are the people they're making this game for, right?

Should I redesign other stuff too? Like the score board? What's your take? Let me know 👍
