#Remove automatic fire

It’s an accessibility feature. Hold to shoot isn’t the issue, the weapon balancing of those guns is.
You’re noticing more players using those guns now as a result of them being more accessible. Finding those guns abrasive isn’t a result of an accessibility feature, but rather the tuning of those guns.
We’ll probably see adjustments made to those guns now their pick rate is much higher, and as a result you’ll find them less offensive. 🙂
Weapons were rarely used because they were poor quality, even for skilled players.
Higher damage would probably result in more use.
The fact is, now, all weapons no longer have a difference between firing modes.
I really find it strange that to be more inclusive, we should eliminate any kind of skill level.
If the problem is accessibility, keep a single weapon for the entire game and only one cyberlimb. It will be more inclusive.
The new interface and shadows were offensive. I have a friend who has glaucoma, who said it became much harder to see, in addition to the visual pollution.
I'd like to see the featured reverted as well but don't have sound argument other than skill gap so I get it
Also yes to point on visual impairments caused by changes. Most games have accessibility features for seizures, tinnitus etc. this one leans the other way
I don't see the point just be glad only weapon not the m4 anymore lol
You think the kasper, azv or proton are “poor quality”?
If the guns need higher damage then why are you concerned with them enough to complain about an accessibility feature being added which has raised the pick rate of those weapons? Are you complaining about the ease of using these guns or not?
Surely you’re not complaining that they’re more accessible now to players? You have a friend who has glaucoma and told you the new UI has made it much harder to see, but haven’t realised the vast range of severe to minor disabilities that Hold to shoot functionalities assist with.
You’re saying all the player has to do is hold the button and wait.
So the game doesn’t require aiming and tracking of a target? Do you believe that a normal automatic fire AR is just a matter of holding a button and waiting?
Yes you’re right about some impact to the varied level of skill required. Dynamic clicking skills are less important when able to use a Hold to shoot function. Or perhaps lesser valued since dynamic clicking with these guns is still the superior way to use them. This is better realised the slower the rate of fire is for the weapon.
Your point just shows that the problem isn't accessibility.
Anyone playing with these weapons (Azv, Kasper, Ichnya) easily loses to a dual M4, M4 + Kestrel. Look at competitive players, you will see that almost none play with them...
Anyone with accessibility issues could play dual M4s and be competitive.
As I said before, people are playing with these weapons more because now they can simply press the button. The skill factor of playing with burstfire is gone...
I'm not against accessibility measures, but honestly, I don't think that was exactly the point, but rather to get people to play more, with these weapons.
i'd deleted this before...but yeh...Buff what the helly?
What are you asking me
There’s no skill factor to spamming burst. 🙂
You are arguing for the removal of a feature that helps people enjoy the game with an extremely trivial negative impact on others, as well as helps the devs balance weapons now that the pickrate of strong guns that were previously under-utilised is increasing.
i couldn't believe what i was reading from you that's all
Let’s just say I have worthy intuition and therefore am not wasting time and effort with layered rebuttals or refutations in my usual format on this one.
lol, you praising this caught me off guard....is what it is🤷♂️
Oh you mean the new feature they added Hold to Shoot? Or something else?
yep that bro...on everything from pistols, snipers to shotguns....😂
I’m sure it will be refined. Asking for the removal of it is absurd. It’s like when people say they should remove AA.
It immediately demonstrates which semi-auto weapons have too high a potential fire rate as well which is extremely important data.
they don't need to get this from players tho, they can do all that behind the scenes surely
Depends on what directs design decisions. I assume currently player-base data such as pick rates do.
I certainly have some disagreements with that ideology but if we are going to do it that way let’s do it the right way 100%. That’s why I’m very pleased to see the feature added. Because I’m pleased to see gun balancing rapidly progressing in coming patches.
Idk anymore bro...lets see what the upcoming patches bring. Do u still play?
Yes of course! I’ll be back to playing and streaming it everyday soon too 🙂
If you understand that weapon balancing depends on a second layer of argument, which is "accessibility," then congratulations.
As I said before, anyone who has accessibility issues and wants to be competitive, will play with dual M4 Predator, not burst-type weapons.
Y’all will cry about anything..
then whats the issue with the new feature if people can just use ARs and beat the burst fire weapons. being the fastest clicker isn't really a show of skill, i would think like movement said, its tracking and aim. if anything, hold to shoot means you have to time cross hair placement better.
