The problem that I see is that all weapons, cyberlimbs, etc look the exact same across all rarities (common, uncommon, rare and epic). Which, in my opinion needs an injection of new.
These can be used across all the different categories of items I can see the same ideas below for weapon attachments, weapon skins, even beards and eyebrows!!

Common Weapons/Cyberlimbs have some of these have a rusty or beat up look to them. And here
You can include the models you have already, but add in more that have sparks coming off of the Because if damage taken or fluid dripping out. -
Uncommon weapons/Cyberlimbs these have. New polished look and have stripes or decals. Sporty shiny colors.

Rare weapons/cyberlimbs start having them with their own unique skins and embellishments. Making them look drastically different from white and green items. Custom parts making either the weapon platform look have a more custom looking frame (spiked barrel, barbed wire wrap etc., custom parts (these could also carry over into weapons attachments).
4)Epic weapons/cyberlimbs these need to actually look and be epic. Have custom chrome and gold plated parts. Have animated lights or animated moving parts. Elegant engravings, sculpted parts like wolf head or dragon barrel.

New Tattoo Cosemtic Body hex idea. This could create four new separate cosmetics for face, neck, chest and back tattoos. Common tattoos would be black ink only and small to medium. Uncommon tattoos would range from medium to large. Rare tattoos medium to full coverage and these start becoming more elaborate and have color. Epics, full coverage and since this is the future have some of these tattoos light up by having fiber optics under skin.

New Weapon Charm hex’s. Items that you can clip on to you gun. Again rarity should reflect in the look of the item.
New looks would be need to be brought to the game often. So there would always be a reason to go into
Teardrop and fight your ass off for hex’s!!
