im sure it was the point, especially that gun is available on the open market, if gun increases in value real world then ingame rare items will be unaffordable to peasants, this is an eco system not just a game, save your panneis and purchase some gun, especially if you love the game, dont forget you can aquire these rare items ingame from lootcrates but the % is very low on the rare and epics...
