better anti cheat

i didnt pay enough attention to the install so im unsure of if there is already kernal level anti cheat but if there isnt, then i hope you will upgrade to kernal level anti cheat and also start doing hardware bans for cheaters. the amount of times im killed by someone who has 17 kills and zero deaths is really frustrating, especially when i spectate and see that they are killing people without even aiming at them and hitting shots that should not be hitting. especially now that there is a victory cutscene, to see these cheaters being glorified (as meaningless as the cutscene actually is), just makes it even more frustrating that they are getting away with it. and then, even if they do get banned, they just make a new account and keep cheating under a different name and new account. especially because of the daily cash tournaments, i think gameplay integrity should be especially important because for one, the potential for cash prizes means that even if they are getting banned and not receiving the prize, the cheaters still think theres a chance they wont get caught and get paid despite cheating, and it essentially incentivizes bad actors to try to gain the system by cheating and brings more cheaters to the game and incentivizes them using harder to detect cheats and making new accounts to keep cheating after the last account gets banned, and that just ruins the game experience for all the regular players out there, because sure, the cheaters might not be getting the cash prize, but we are still being forced to die and lose to the cheaters and it really ruins the gameplay loop to be gunned down with zero chance to outplay someone whos cheating. i really love this game so much, ive been following it since at least 8 months before it went into early access, im still so in love with this game and i read every patch notes release with great fervor, but its honestly hard to recommend this super fun and wonderful game to most of my friends while there are still SOOOOO many cheaters in so many matches. like, the difference between playing deathmatch and the extraction royale mode is like night and day because theres no one running around gutting everyone in a split second in deathmatch, and im someone who HATES playing deathmatch in any game, but its become so unfun to play the extraction royale mode that i find myself trying to complete my challenges in deathmatch as much as possible because i havent really seen any blatant cheating in deathmatch yet and then gritting my teeth to get through the challenges i cant do outside of the extraction royale mode. im basically waiting and waiting for the cheaters to not be such a massive issue before i start trying to get my friends into OTG because theres no way my friends would tolerate and stick around to keep playing a game with as many blatant cheaters as there are in OTG right now. i normally wouldnt stick around this long in a game thats so unplayable because of cheating, but im just really emotionally attached to this game so im trying to wait it out. but i really need you guys to prioritize getting a better anti cheat (definitely kernal level, like talk to Riot Games and see if they will licence their anti cheat out to OTG maybe???? because Vanguard is the bees knees when it comes to anti cheat, cheaters get banned so quickly and i basically never see bots or cheaters anymore since Riot Games went live with Vanguard in valorant and league of legends, like yes, cheaters still try, but they dont get to stick around for long and kernal level anti cheat allows you to effectively hardware ban cheaters too so they cant just keep making new accounts and coming back) and focus on getting rid of the cheaters permanently and more efficiently and faster. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make upgrading the anti cheat to something stronger an immediate priority, even if it means delaying some of the cool gameplay changes you have coming up, because it doesnt matter how fun the game is if cheaters ruin it

I agree but what really frustrates me the most is how you guys as a company (knowing there are clearly cheats and bugs etc in this game) created a "Anti cheat" skin?! Incredibly insulting and to be honest not funny at all. You could of used your time to instead create an actual anti cheat system in place to fix this issue.

It's a different team that does the skins versus the anti cheat. I think the anti cheat skins are funny, but I wish they would have like saved it for when they rolled out a new anti cheat upgrade or something, woulda been more topical 😂 there will always be cheaters, even the most obvious cheats take a few games before the best anti cheat software does a ban on them, it's not like they can fully get rid of cheating, it's always a cat and mouse game and to devote too much resources to trying to perfect anti cheat is a losers game, because new and better and harder to detect cheats (especially now with AI) come out every single day, so we would never get new features if they did that, and I DO UNDERSTAND wanting to put more resources into developing the actual game, especially while the game is in early access, that's a totally understandable thing, I can only imagine how excited the devs are to keep rolling out new features and modes and wanting to be doing that as fast as possible, so again I will say, I understand them not hyper prioritizing an anti cheat upgrade. But at the very least, if I knew they were looking into and working on upgrading the anti cheat system (like if they told us it was an issue of importance and improvements are on the way but just take time to get right), then I would be more fine (not totally fine though) waiting a bit longer for those changes, but being in the dark about MUCH needed anti cheat improvements while the cheaters are in the discord general chat bragging about how they are so much better than other people, it's not very fun 😦

Just knowing that better anti cheat and hardware bans for cheaters are on the way, would put a lot of my concerns at ease, because I do understand the devs wanting to hyper focus on gameplay aspects, but we really do need kernal level anti cheat and hardware bans for cheaters NOW
