Hi, I'm a researcher working on my masters in Cherokee Studies and I would like to help with making the southeast both interesting, and reflective of the political realities of the southeast paramountcies!

If you have concrete thoughts it would be best to write them down and post them both herr and on the forums. If you want to actively be part of the development of the Region i think the only wqy would be to apply at paradox for a Job.

I mostly just wanna add some basic info like most of the southeast being sedentery and having trade towns for different manufactured goods for more dynamic markets and governments since the southeast is a study in how apoocalyptic events reform governments into their historical states by the arrival of Europeans

#

Like how the Muskogee are essentially a network of competing military complexes and trade cities that have different peoples in tributary networks

#

Or the Cherokee are a federated group of cities that share a common government and language and act as a hybrid federation/democracy

#

Some of the province names are also duplicates or are in weird areas

#

like Anitsalagi just means "They the Tsalagi" in Cherokee, but that name is not used by Cherokee people until the 1800s as its a phoeneticizing of "Cherokee" into the Cherokee language

#

so it's weird its in Virginia

#

Similarly, Catawba and Iswa refer to the same group of people

#

Who were tributaries under the Muskogean speaking Joara and Cofitachequi

#

who were the ethnic minority of a predominantly Eastern Siouan speaking region
