Hello,@tiny elk
I am a dedicated player who has been thoroughly enjoying Morimens for about six months. I am writing this message to bring to your attention some critical issues regarding the current Korean localization in the game.
Despite the involvement of an official Korean translator, major translation issuesโspecifically regarding consistent quality control and glossary managementโremain unresolved. Below are some of the key issues that Korean players have frequently encountered during gameplay.
- Lack of Consistency in In-Game Translation
There is a noticeable lack of consistency across character names, skill names, skill descriptions, and world-building proper nouns.
Proper Nouns & Lore: Names of characters and lore-specific terms within the story are translated inconsistently. In some cases, they differ significantly from the original source text, which severely disrupts immersion in the game's otherwise wonderful world and storyline (e.g., the inconsistent translation of "Misisk University").
Skill Names & Descriptions: There are frequent discrepancies where a skill name differs from how it is referenced inside the skill's actual description text. Furthermore, frequent changes to skill names (most notably for Murphy: Fauxborn and Kathigu-Ra) cause heavy confusion. Changing established skill names unfamiliarizes players with their characters and degrades the overall gameplay experience.
