This is a full guide covering all early player progression, a brief overview of characters as well as a more detailed rundown of Caro aspects! There was a lot, a LOT of content to cover and I didn't have more than a skeleton script so... hopefully you like a meandering voice. I might break this down into a series of smaller videos later, but for now, going to specific timestamps is highly encouraged!

I know a lot of people prefer consuming or referencing this material in a video or audio format so I gave a try at providing one. Thanks lots for any and all attention given, I hope it helps!

I'm just copying a note I made in the comments about banner priority for new players (a subject I didn't want to go into too deeply because it's so heavily dependent in what content you wish to progress through first, but still):

• Firstly, at least going off the last anniversary and the other half-anniversaries, I would expect the anniversary to be likely to follow their example of handing out extra pulls and resources than usual, but not offering banners with rates that are better than usual. Just the new character will probably be strong, but they (likely) could also be an Aequor scaling character who requires specific other characters to work well. All of that is conjecture, but I wouldn't worry overmuch about the need to save up lots, especially since some amount of limited pulling will allow you to progress through the midgame more easily and get your pulls "refunded" as a result of that.

• Technically, Kaleido and Chronos are actually the banners with enhanced rates, but each of them come with a "catch" obviously.

• If you're brand new and don't know what particular characters and teamstyle(s) you want to play yet, then pulling a fair amount on Kaleido is usually a good idea, but remember it's totally random.

• If you're trying to get to a 325 or 350 D-Tide score a bit easier as your current progression and are lacking consistent characters to fill out, Kaleido usually provides good results as well.

• Almost all of the Kaleido characters are high quality (even getting past Limiteds that are also in standard is not really a bad result as all of them except Sorel are pretty useful at low enlightens, and the odds of getting old limited through standard banner is too low to bet on usually), however quite a lot of the wheels are very situational or sometimes even a bit powercrept (Wanda and Miryam wheels come to mind). These are what I would call your actual "bad" Kaleido SSR pulls.
