The Chinese community has already discussed the Cthulhu Mythos entities which were the inspiration for the design of the awakers. Some of the more obvious ones are Le Horla (Horla), Brown Jenkin (Jenkin), Mi-Go (Doll), and Liz (Tulzscha).
