Hello everyone, I’m Ernest the stray (鯊魚腳下的野貓), aka Lemuria defeatist. I’ve finally reached another round of the Silver Hunting Festival. This time, I’m bringing you several Aequor teams I’ve managed to assemble in the Stellar Chapter that are still viable. Let’s first take three seconds to mourn the fallen Aequor counterattack.
Also, since every player’s level and skill allocation differ, the wheels I’ve paired here are only for reference and aren’t top-tier. Feel free to choose upgrades, downgrades, or substitutes based on each wheel’s properties.
Because the D-tide has now been entirely converted to the Stellar Chapter—and given the unique nature of non-repeatable character wheels in D-tide—please refer to this article for more details: https://discord.com/channels/1131791637933199470/1308730391825354845
Furthermore, although the unsettling Rouse rules in the Stellar Chapter have significantly affected the S-key system’s operation, it can still be applied in teams that don’t rely heavily on Rouse. See this CH article for further discussion: A Brief Discussion on the Operation of the S-key System

Team Overview

Aequor Poison Team

  • Alternate Characters:
Nymphaea can be swapped with “Mason”, but note that if you change the wheel pairing, you must exchange GDoll so that GDoll serves as the S-key user.
  • Alternate Wheels:
If you’re worried about insufficient sigils, GDoll or Faros can be swapped for an Aching Fin . If you’re concerned about sudden deaths during normal fights or a poor S-key component setup, Faros can alternatively use Polar Night and Break Down .

This is likely the Aequor team best suited for the current Stellar Chapter environment. With a couple of relics related to poison or base damage—and nearly any exclusive relic aside from Faros’s—you can make it work.
In normal fights, the strategy is to use Deep Currents paired with GDoll’s strong damage bonus to handle multiple small foes. Then, Rouse Miryam with Supreme Life Offering and Frenzied Sea to single out high-HP elites, waiting for the moment to tear apart the opposition by combining Deep Currents with Night Tide.
For boss fights, prioritize Rousing Miryam first, then GDoll and Faros; there’s little reason to Rouse Nymphaea unless you need that extra aliemus to trigger an exalt for poisoning the boss.
As for posse , aside from Illusion Plague , both Sea Festival and Little Wish are options. However, to compensate for the fact that the poison team can only finish off enemies by letting them take enough hits to eventually succumb to poison, I recommend using Illusion Plague to supplement the damage.
Its biggest drawback is the fragility (low HP) and a lack of sigils; recovery relies solely on Holy Rite and GDoll’s three-cost recovery. However, if you secure Miryam’s exclusive relic, it becomes much easier to regain health before the bottomless scar appears.

Goli-Caecus Team

  • Alternate Characters:
Ryker can be swapped in when you’re certain the enemy won’t be weakened, in exchange for Caecus .
  • Alternate Wheels:
If you don’t have Hymn of the Divine King , you can replace it with Aberrant Rebound ; if that’s unavailable, Analysis of Death is a fallback.

Any S-key component can be exchanged for Hidden Birth , but the associated pact must then be replaced with Twisted Twins.White ; if even that is lacking, Moment of Reunion is an option.
Falling Sun isn’t essential—it can be swapped for Polar Night and Break Down to allow Caecus to equip other sigils or boost recovery.
Since death resistance will be reduced to 75% of its total anyway, it might be more straightforward to head straight into pure Aequor content without worrying too much. Thanks to the robust HP of the two tanky characters on the left (around a little over 2k HP) and Murphy’s survivability along with Goliath’s far superior growth potential, in normal fights you only need one burst, while in harder battles a sequence of one Usurp ollowed by one Lurk will suffice. Of course, if you’re banking on Caecus and Miryam’s burst—or even an Eddy Reversal —it can be even faster.
Even though the enemy won’t be weakened and Caecus can be swapped for Ryker, the Goli-Caecus team still heavily relies on Caecus’s healing ability; the damage bonus from Ryker may not be enough to withstand the boss fight’s output.
Since Goli-Caecus is a medium-to-slow-paced team and often requires Rousing during normal fights, the posse trigger frequency isn’t high. Thus, if the pressure in normal fights is manageable, it’s best to stick with Blessing of the Stars during Rouse downtime to build layers and achieve the fastest burst possible against elites and bosses. If the pressure is too high, switching to Giant’s Domination for a speed boost is also viable.

Goli-24 Team

  • Alternate Characters:
Ryker and Murphy can be swapped (with Murphy taking Caecus’s place).
  • Alternate Wheels:
As with the Goli-Caecus team, if you lack Hymn of the Divine King , you can opt for Aberrant Rebound ; if not, Analysis of Death works.

This variant of the Goli-Caecus team, featuring “Mason”, is designed to counter enemies with excessive HP or those that can become reinforced. It utilizes base damage relics from Aequor’s original set and strength relics, relying mainly on direct damage rather than poison for output. All four characters are capable of securing their exclusive relics—with Caecus in the mix, you should be able to collect them (at least in Stella Chapter 1’s resonance).
The strategy in normal fights is similar to that of the standard Goli-Caecus team, but adding “Mason” as an 2nd damager damage dealer increases overall damage. In a depressed state, trigger “Mason” first then Goliath, followed by Goliath’s chopping attack; in a frenzied state, lead with Goliath then “Mason” to apply poison. However, “Mason” relies more on the Rouse bonus, so she should be the first to be Roused, while Miryam’s Rouse slot can be considered optional or placed much later.
For the posse, Giant’s Domination or Little Wish (note that in my diagram I accidentally brought the wrong one but it still worked) fits best.
The main drawback is a slightly slower start—especially in ground battles—and the output is sacrificed by relying on the survival of a pure Goli-Caecus setup, meaning that against bosses with continuous damage, you’ll need Caecus and Miryam’s exclusive relics to tank the damage.

Aequor Shield-Slam Team

  • Alternate Characters:
Alva can replace Caecus or Murphy, and Miryam can also substitute for Murphy.
  • Alternate Wheels:
    Polar Night and Break Down can be swapped with The End of the Poetic Line ;
    Falling Sun can be replaced with any wheel that enhances counterattack or shield values;
Birth of a Soul can be exchanged for any wheel that increases recovery or provides sigils.
Any S-key component can be swapped for Hidden Birth , but then the pact must be replaced with Twisted Twins.White ; if still short, Moment of Reunion is acceptable.

Relying on an already abundant amount of death resistance, the Aequor Shield-Slam team suffers primarily from a turn limit in the Stellar Chapter—arguably the most severe drawback among all teams. Deciding whether to include Miryam for a speed boost is a tough call: with her, HP becomes thinner and you lose a wheel slot; without her, the aliemus rotation can become too sluggish, possibly leaving you unable to finish the fight in time.
However, in Level 3 D-tide stages, Aequor Shield-Slam shines. In normal fights, there aren’t many decision points—just pump resources into Sanga and push with an exalt triggered by aliemus.
Aside from needing to Rouse Nautila , none of the other characters in Shield-Slam necessarily require Rouse; it typically comes down to whether you have enough pressure on survival and have managed to snag Murphy’s exclusive relic, or if you urgently need to clear debuffs like weakness or to trigger an aliemus exalt on Caecus or Sanga.
For posse, there is no alternative—the Short-lived Eternity is as tailor-made for Sanga as it gets.

Miryam One-Punch Team

  • Alternate Characters:
Murphy and Ryker can be swapped (with Murphy replacing Caecus). In this setup, Murphy serves as the S-key user, and GDoll’s wheel is exchanged for a strong damage set.
  • Alternate Wheels:
    Hand of Oblivion can be swapped for either Witch's Wide-brimmed Hat , Breaking the Chain , or Sink Into Scarlet ;
Falling Sun can be replaced with any wheel that boosts strong damage.
Thanks to the introduction of many base damage relics in the Stellar Chapter, the Miryam One-Punch team becomes a powerful choice against bosses that don’t summon extra foes. (You can check out the battle in this video of a deep dive still using the Stellar Chapter rules: One-punch Miryam However, due to its heavy reliance on relic support, I generally do not recommend switching in Murphy.
The approach in normal fights is straightforward: Rouse Miryam, trigger an over-exalt, then use one turn to stab a small enemy—followed by using Deep Currents to lower the HP of the other small foes (and then look for an opportunity to finish them off before the boss round).
Since Miryam must be Roused, and survival might depend on Caecus and GDoll being Roused, while card draw relies on Faros, this team hardly ever gets a chance to trigger a posse. But if needed, you can print out Miryam’s defence paired with a sacrifice effect to survive—and I believe there is no posse more suitable than Short-lived Eternity for this.

Caro-Aequor Father Team

Alternate Characters:
Sanga can replace Caecus.
Alternate Wheels:
In the Midst of the Rainstorm and Aching Fin can be substituted with The Glutton's Tale ; Giant's Blade and Table of the Divine can be exchanged with The End of the Poetic Line ; For S-key components, you can use either Pure Silver Beginner's Heart or Focused Spirit.

Thanks to Goliath and Caecus’s high HP, combined with death resistance converting to maximum HP and the boost from soul shaping, this team can comfortably reach 2.4k or even 2.6k HP. With wheels that increase recovery and have realm mastery attributes—and excellent synergy with the tranquil still sea—this team faces virtually no pressure in normal fights. (For a battle demonstration, see this video: Caro-Aquer Salvador )
This team tends toward using four Rouses. Although Life Drain in the Caro realm is replaced by producing an Embryo , Thais naturally generates S-key energy. Thus, the team can typically complete its Rouse sequence in six, or even five, turns. Of course, if survival isn’t an issue, you might consider not Rousing Caecus.
For the posse, the choice is flexible. I personally favor Miracle Arrival for its strength bonus, though Giant’s Domination and Roaring Blood and Sand are also viable.
The only downside is that, although turn count isn’t a problem, squeezing this team into a three-star rating might be a bit challenging.

Caro-Aequor Rose Team

  • Alternate Characters:
    None.
  • Alternate Wheels:
Million Loving Gaze can be swapped for Bloddy Feast ; Polar Night and Break Down can be exchanged for Incalculabe Factor ; For S-key components, you can opt for either Pure Silver Beginner's Heart or Focused Spirit .

This semi-casual team is useful against bosses with either low HP or low damage. Essentially, it treats Sorel as if she were Aurita—someone who contaminates only your hand, not your entire deck.
For relics, you can secure exclusive relics from Miryam and Sorel, as well as strength and realm relics. However, due to a lack of space for sigils, you can only use resonance to focus on exclusive relics in the main storyline; in D-tide you’re forced to use whatever relic you obtain.
The Rouse priority is Sorel first, then Thais, and if there’s room, Tulu can also be included. Miryam doesn’t need to be Roused. After a few rounds, you can experiment to gauge Sorel’s expected damage output and decide if you need to use Tulu to trigger an aliemus exalt or Screwed Again .
For the posse, I mainly recommend Roaring Blood and Sand to help generate Embryo, though Rose Victory is another consideration.
Its drawbacks are obvious: it lacks both funds and survival, making the timing of stepping on Faded Bone and sacrificing at the Ashen Ruin critical. Against bosses with extremely high direct damage, this team isn’t even considered.

National Team

  • Alternate Characters:
Hameln can replace Ramona , and “Mason” can also substitute for Ramona—though when doing so, you’ll need to equip a wheel that enhances crit rate or crit damage.
  • Alternate Wheels:
Blue Stone Throne can be swapped for Aberrant Rebound or Falling Into an Illusion Doll ; Falling Sun can be replaced with Polar Night and Break Down or Incalculabe Factor.
I don’t play the National Team much, but since someone has already published a Stellar Chapter guide for it, I’ve included it in this list.
Due to the overall high damage environment in the Stellar Chapter, Murphy’s sacrifice is limited by her relatively low HP ceiling. It might be wise to secure the exclusive relics of both Murphy and Miryam, followed by Tulu’s relic. Other relics should focus on Aequor’s original set first, then any relic that supplements arthmatica.
If the pressure in normal fights is too high or if you’re not familiar with the National Team’s playstyle, consider switching to posse that boost arthmatica—such as Sea Festival, Mouse Wisdom , Giant’s Domination, or Fourth Symphony.
The drawbacks, as with the Forgotten Chapter, are slow growth, insufficient survival, and a shortage of sigils.

Strong Goliath Team

  • Alternate Characters:
Helot can replace GDoll, and the wheel must be swapped to a full S-key set.
  • Alternate Wheels:
Falling Sun and Breaking the Chain can be exchanged for either Celestial Beast or Sink Into Scarlet .

Like the Miryam One-Punch Team, this fun build benefits from the Stellar Chapter’s base damage relics. It’s suitable for stages other than the main storyline’s final bosses. Thanks to GDoll’s base damage boost and strong damage amplification, Goliath can dish out 30k to even 40k damage in the very first over-exalt of every battle. However, because there’s no slot for sigils, relics are limited to whatever you can grab—prioritizing base damage relics, then Miryam’s exclusive relic, followed by strength relics and the exclusive relics of Goliath and GDoll.
Its main advantage is that it can achieve high damage almost without needing any Rouse. The downside is its lack of noticeable growth; against high-HP or multi-phase bosses, it may run out of steam.

Conclusion

Since it’s been 10 months without any new characters after Miryam’s era in Aequor—and with Tulu and Murphy’s enhancements in the Stellar Chapter being rather mediocre—it’s almost as Hameln said: we are merely fools whose remain trapped in the Forgotten Chapter.
Still, despite the lack of new blood, this realm adapts reasonably well to the Stellar Chapter. We can look forward to a time when new Aequor characters finally usher in a great (or perhaps monumental) change.
