Now that most of us have been rightfully informed that character gacha isn't gonna be apary of the game at launch so it's safe to say that it would be cool for consumers for collaboration events that feature an obtainable character exclusive to that event would be really cool.

For example, lets say Ananta collabs with an anime and features a character from said anime you can unlock, but you'll need to unlock said character through the event itself.

Now of course I fully expect something like this at some point in the future, but it doesn't hurt to throw this out there anyway right?

I'm not saying this in a bad way, but I don't support your suggestion. Honestly, I would prefer unique characters and not from collabs. I think collaboration skins, tunings, decorations, and similar would be better than collaboration characters

Now respectfully thought I still believe that playable collab characters would be cool only for the simple fact that alot of games did collaboration cosmetics before (example: call of duty x attack on titan) and the best ones would have to go yo segas phantasy star online but you still have to pay for those mostly, and given how the game is, I can see them collaborating with either an anime or another game which in hindsight doesn't seem like a bad idea logically speakingbut depending on what they choose to be obtainable or even doable in the collaboration event is entirely up to the devs, but I don't really see a downside to them adding playable/unlockable collaboration characters.

I understand your point and although it is not a bad idea, but it is incompatible with a world like Ananta, in the case of a playable character like, you complement a playable character of a collaboration in the world of Ananta (taking into account that Ananta will be focused more on the stories of the characters and their interactions and mechanics (like Richie with his police skills) so collaboration characters would not have a justification in the story or an integration that was not forced and without lore, not counting the skills, the kit etc ... in fortinite, freefire and games of that style it is easy to do collaborations because the characters are not focused on their story, apart from being just skins without a unique ability or quality, unlike Ananta

You never know honestly how it gets done only really time will tell depending on the direction the game goes.

collab chars but they would have to fits the story with protag xd and you know what I think? the most possible is collab with marvel so generally all marvel chars possible. even without gacha it is possible

but they not must be even playable like the rest, they can be playable only in some side story

I can see it working as a limited time event and where you can get the outfits and clothing venders and there are probably rhythm game mini games that you can grind for the characters in the event

ooo with partly playable chars only for event with marvel char would be so cool and like killu said there you could get special outfit or something. then we could really looks like spiderman if we had his clothes on MC XD better if venom haha to kick the trolls asses xd but to gain real $ then after doing story we could get it by real money.
