So why was this switched from a semi-stylized open world city game with actually promising looking combat into a blatant GTA clone with Yakuza/Spider-Man combat mechanics? I liked the combat and looks of the old trailers way better than this new stuff. Where does the old stuff about cosmic beings from the old story trailers even come into this now? Cause you definitely ain't taking on cosmic beings with moves like these.

Not to mention, what the actual ---- is with this AWFUL, corny a$$ dialogue that gets spewed out every 2 seconds? Are you guys really that in need of a writer with an IQ over 75 that wasn't blatantly brain-drained by college (which has no place in purely creative fields like writing to begin with)? You do realize nobody actually likes Marvel/DC one-liners, right?

Or is this sudden pivot just supposed to be a power move to blow GTA6 out of the water by giving people things they actually want (aesthetically, the dialogue still needs so much ----ing work) so that GTA6 chokes in it's cradle for getting too 'progressive' for the actually profitable demographic of gamers to care about?

Cause if it is, I will admit I respect it but at the same time I kinda lost interest in the direction the game is going in but will wish you luck on BTFO-ing Rockstar for chugging the koolaid anyway.

i personally like the more grounded/realistic/kungfu-like combat without the exaggerated VFX that barely let you see what's even going on and without the long animations that reduce the flow of combat and make it more spammy

I feel like we've had enough of the Genshin clones that all have the same spammy combat with the flashy VFX

It's only a Genshin clone if it's fantasy stuff. We still need a modern city game with good movement and flashy combat to fill that niche. But I guess that will just have to be done by NTE since Ananta is going a lame direction.

Watered down things is for the West. Not for anime styled things.
