  1. Skin Tier System
All skins are purely cosmetic — no gameplay advantage.

Tier 1: Basic (default)
Tier 2: Special – Color swap, earnable via in-game currency (~$5)
Tier 3: Premium – Full outfit redesign (~$20)
Tier 4: Legendary – New outfit + hairstyle + weapon design (~$100)
Tier 5: Celestial – Glowing effects, recolored skills, custom animations + backstory
$200 (4★), $1000 (5★); popular units must have these

  1. Skin Trial System
Each skin can be trialed once per account, for 2 weeks.
Trial system is permanent content — even future players can try skins.
Creates hype, builds FOMO, and markets high-tier skins naturally.

  2. Free Skin Selector
Players receive one free skin selector per year (for cheap skins)
Boosts goodwill, keeps players engaged, and attracts new ones.
Whales still spend — one isn’t enough.

Result: Long-term engagement, visual flex, no P2W

For some reason I'm taking your suggestion into account since it sounds good and at the same time not so good, but it was a suggestion if it were for something that closely resembles a server game.

I get the idea but you need to reconsider pricing, a skin that's only cosmetic but it price being more than a whole new AAA game is crazy enough but you actually want it to be $1000?? You can almost build a whole gaming pc with that

#

Also the free skin selector yearly (for any tier) is a terrible idea

#

If I ever spent $1000 for a skin, I don't wanna see a random that never spent a single dollar in the game with the same skin lmao
