I'll need to edit this over the next few days, just so you know 🙂

I finished the Demo tonight (this morning) and the last time I felt this way about a game was Diablo II. Everyone in our family played for so many years, and we still do! Thank you for that, so much. I know one of you worked on Diablo as well. I have played it since it was available to purchase.) Torchlight and Torchlight 2 were also wonderful. but those games didn't have the vibe DarkHaven does.

But here we are now, and this needs to find a way to happen. I was spoiled by Diablo and Diablo 2, because overall, it makes one feel satisfied. I still don't think much else comes close. I need more satisfying things in my life. Don't we all? And now something really innovative, that creates new opportunities.

The only real bug I ran into may have been my fault? I did finish the demo, but this wasn't my first playthrough. I had rerolled maybe 4 or 5 times, trying out skills and such. Anyway, I finally decided to try not taking the altar quest until I had explored some. I really didn't intend to wait till I had explored every nook and cranny, but it happened.

I was able to talk to Lum, and follow all the quests including the one to go get the necro. He wouldn't move to Greenward. Maybe he figured all was well so why bother? lol

More thoughts to come ...

He doesn't move there unless the first waypoint and town spot get corrupted by the necropolis

I'm aware, but he didn't move after that happened.

He does move once the corruption physically comes to town.

Sorry I never got back to finish my thoughts. I loved the demo, so much that I played it over and over again. There were still things I never got to do! I did want to see what the new rune words created, but I need bed soon, and my pc has been off all night due to severe t-storms. I'm just not going to get the chance to mess around with it anymore before it leaves Steam.

I did decide over the course of playing to up my pledge in Kickstarter, and then up it again by adding the add-on pet.

I don't know what it is that draws me in, but it does, it's magic. I love it and I can't wait to playtest! I love the deformable terrain. I didn't get to spend too much time building, but I love what it adds to the game. Thanks for including the shark level, and the opportunity for one to be named for me 🙂 I love how it's found, and thank you for adding it to illustrate how playing with the terrain a bit can influence what happens in the game, or what one might find. Excellent.
