I do think the mana regen needs to be adjusted, it seems to be a bit too harsh without having a good amount of mana regen on gear.

You get Regen by using your generator or non spender attacks.

With proper points in intelligence and the right modifiers like shadow glyph for glyph lunge, you can get a decent amount.
