Treecko line is my favorite shiny and would give me eggs instead of me having to get my Lucario to 60, Torchic is an okay shiny and would be an actual mushroom gatherer instead of me getting mushrooms from Honchkrow's skill, Mudkip is just plain cute and would, I believe, unlock corn. I should probably be focusing on one specific one, but, eh.

I got to FL6 on Mudkip (which I don't really need to work on), FL4 on Treecko, and FL2 on Torchic. Hopefully I can add a few more, especially with the guaranteed two hungry mons (one event, one GCT) per nap.

Somewhat unrelated, I have 95 Mudkip candies, 31 handy candies, a Marshtomp that's 245 candies from evolving, and that candy boost event coming up. I might be able to get all the way to a Swampert very soon.

Okay- so the candy boost gives twice the candy exp for four times the stardust. Normally this would take 245 candies and 19,200 stardust, so that's 122.5 candies and 76,800 stardust needed. Between the handy candies and the spare Mudkip candies, I have 106 candies, and I also have 127,400 stardust.

Basically, if I get 17 more Mudkip candies and wait until Tuesday (so I have two days worth of candy boost), I'll have a Swampert.

I’m not sure that’s actually the case. Even if the hunger is unrelated, it would surely be possible for whatever Pokemon a GCT makes hungry to also be shiny.

And if I sleep while I have a GCT on and get, say, a hungry Charmander and a shiny Rattata, I can’t tell whether the GCT hit the Charmander and made it hungry, or if it hit the Rattata and then the Rattata either [became shiny, because of a following roll, due to it being hungry] or [was going to be just plain hungry, but then succeeded in an “is it shiny” roll and wound up with the GCT hunger being made irrelevant due to being shiny].
