I use it on table just beside my bed, the result will be slumbering mainly, but I place it on my bed it will detect your movement as cleffamuk mention gyro powered.

Good things to have PGP+ is because after connect and on the ++ in sleep mode, I can use my phone and even go out with my phone ( away from ++, which I did it once and still able to add in data after wake up)

^ I've barely used mine to log sleep so this is based on more experience than I have, but lines up with what I've experienced. It sure is an expensive toy though.

At least that toy can be a collection for Pokémon collector+let you use your phone anytime without disturbing the sleep+ if you a pogo user it will be 3 ways trades.
Maybe China might come out something more better than official and more cheap without it to vibrate 😂 and maybe auto catch with ultra ball
Old version of plus, I happen to purchase the “non official or modded version” auto catch without pressing and won’t vibrate.
Maybe 2 months later will come out similar on ++
