it's a really common problem. don't worry, you're not the only one who gets it and it had been reported already if you wanna do so. first of all make sure you have cooking hobby unlocked and have gotten the quest from massimo + unlocked special event food recipes. if you haven't you wouldn't be able to access the stove

IF YOU'RE SURE YOU HAVE DONE ALL OF IT:

• switch your town
• rejoin the game
• turn your wifi off and on
• press the wrench button at the title screen to redownload the game files
• try using massimo's penguin ovens at the onsen mountain
• enter build mode or use your in-game tablet to put your penguin stove in your inventory and then move it to another place

I think it’ll happen naturally over time. You just rejoined the same town probably so it puts you at the last spot you were at, sometimes.

If you want, you can try manually joining a new town to see if you spawn in front of your own home ?

Go to the title screen / login screen.
Next to the START button, press on
Press on All Towns and select a random one to join.

Hi, I need technical help with a cooking recipe issue.

I unlocked the Aurora Banquet recipe from the Fashionwave event, but I can’t cook it because the required sub-recipe Steak with Mashed White Radish is missing.

Details:
-Cooking Hobby Level: 5
-Main Story: completed up to Adopt a Dog
-When I tap the locked recipe, it only says “You haven’t obtain this yet” with no unlock condition shown
-Massimo’s cooking store does not sell this recipe
-I’ve restarted the game many times and used Fix Game, but nothing changed

This makes Aurora Banquet impossible to cook.
Could someone help check if this is a technical / event recipe unlock issue and advise how to fix it?

You have to do daily requests and keep doing the hobby so keep fishing or anything else cat caring or dog caring then that levels the hobbys up and then levels your DG level too

The only thing that contributes to DG level ups is quests, grinding hobbies will only give you exp for that hobby, and crafting doesnt give exp.

We only get a certain number of quests a day, so what level you can be at is time locked by when you start playing

My two cats are also not interested in eating from the automatic feeder. It’s unclear whether this is a bug or whether the pets require time to warm up to the machine ( much like pets IRL ).

I noticed, sometimes one of my cats will eat from it but very little and other times they will decide against eating from the machine ( see screenshot below ). I would say, give it time. Problem #1: Yes, this is a known bug that there are symbols or letters in a different language on the Snowball Sculpting part in Collections . Thank you for reporting this to Customer Support in-game so they can be aware.

Pets are quite buggy at the moment. Almost everyone is experiencing this issue. We all kinda just have to wait for a fix from developers in regards to pets being on the roof and the inability to interact with them.

In the mean time, here are some temporary fixes you can try ( they may help, but not always ).

When you can’t see interaction bubbles on top of your cat, then try entering for a few seconds and then exit. Approach your cat again and then the interaction bubbles should appear again.

Hi, I need help with a Fashionwave event item issue.
I received the snow sculpturing tool/station from Azure as part of her Fashionwave event quest.
I placed it in my house, but I didn’t save the house layout. Later, I opened another house blueprint and when I returned to the previous house, the ice sculpturing tool was gone.

Details:

-The item is not in my backpack
-The item is not in storage
-I cannot redo Azure’s quest to obtain it again
-Restarting the game did not fix it

Because this was a one-time quest reward, I’m now unable to continue the ice sculpturing part of the event.
Could you please help check if the item can be reissued or if the event progress can be reset/fixed on my account?

So the pets clearly seem to be utterly bugged right now i could deal with them spawning on the roof least i could get to them by building but now they're so bugged that they spawn like waaay far out the front that i can never interact with them so the pets being neglected cause of the bug now if the EXP wasn't so low when giving you EXP while petting i would have probably leveled up by now to be able to walk them just to be able to interact with them well since i only have access to petting since they're always so far out of my plot it always hits me with please return to your home before cleaning your pet well i would if i could but the game spawns the cat so far out than i literally have to wait around till the walk over onto my plot which takes hours and i don't have the time for that drama so this needs fixing and resolved ASAP game is becoming very unplayable due to the amount of bugs the pets have i posted the picture for attention this is what is keeps saying now i would walk them if i could even interact with them to even get EXP to even be able to unlock it...... My snow sculpture building is very messed up, and I don't think I am being clear when talking to in-game support (even with sending photos). I am now level 3 for snow sculptures. It clearly shows that I have unlocked the simpler sculptures, however, I am getting more "advanced" ones with the simpler sculpture name. I have kept at least one of every single sculpture I have ever made, and as you can see, I don’t have any of these cute simple ones except the chef guy. Instead, I have tons of advanced ones. I have purposely done poorly in sculpting as I thought I was going to fast, and no luck there either. I even intentionally made mistakes—also no luck. sigh

So in this thread you will see all sculptures unlocked and you will see that they somewhat relate to the animal snow sculpture being shown. So it does in fact relate to your hobby level.

It is a very common bug ( pets and not being able to interact, or pets being on the roof ). It’s been heavily reported as well so now we’re all just waiting for a fix from the developers.

There are some temporary fixes but they don’t always work unfortunately. Hopefully those bugs revolving around pets will be solved soon.

Did you happen to go AFK while building ? This happened to me when I went AFK and the game tried to reconnect me to another town while in . Basically part of my build was lost because I had to press on “ Discard Unsaved Changes “ to finally move on.

If you want to, you can try repairing your game to see if that changes anything ? You can find the repair button on the title screen / login screen. It is located in the corner on the top right side of the screen. It has a wrench on it.

This is exactly what I thought & this is the problem. You must be logged into the same account with the same account number.

The issue here is that ( FOR EXAMPLE ) Apple devices will automatically log into games with an Apple ID and game center. Sometimes other phones or devices will do the same thing.

Where are you trying to log in right now ? Which one is your new device that isn’t syncing and giving you a whole new account ID ? If you can log out on this new device and try to log back into your account that has your saved data, that would help.

Something that may be a cause of this error is the game’s optimization. This means even if you know your Internet connection is good, sometimes the game will require players to restart their router or change connections to connect / enter the game.

Things you can try just to enter a town ( and then switch back to your regular WiFi ) includes:

Restarting your router
Manually forgetting your WiFi and manually reconnecting to it
Using a different WiFi

5G, LTE
Cellphone data / hotspot
VPN ( most players are using Proton which is free )

I would double check that all quests are done & nothing is stopping the progression of this. Sometimes main story quests absolutely need to be completed before being able to access other things.

Open your watch and go to Memo to check all quests there.

You can also try manually changing towns as this often fixes some small bugs in your town.

Something that may be a cause of this error is the game’s optimization. This means even if you know your Internet connection is good, sometimes the game will require players to restart their router or change connections to connect / enter the game.

Things you can try just to enter a town ( and then switch back to your regular WiFi ) includes:

Restarting your router
Manually forgetting your WiFi and manually reconnecting to it
Using a different WiFi

This is normal then. When you’re completing your first day of the game, you can only learn three hobbies. On the second day ( you need to wait for the daily reset to occur ) you will be able to learn another hobby. The main story progresses a little bit each day.

Although you started 6 days ago, you said you immediately got off and so you probably did not complete the tutorial or what is considered the first day in the game.

Basically, you are on track because you learned 3 hobbies. What I would suggest is to wait for the next daily reset ( tomorrow at 6:00 am ) to see if your main story progression continues on.

It is normal to start with 3 hobbies only. Then the next day you’ll learn another one and so on until you learn all of them.

The snow in the game will often fall heavy and cover everything in the game, or it will melt quickly and everything will be green again in the game. This mechanic was made to mimic snow falling and melting in real life.

Currently, almost everyone has no snow because it has melted. To check when the snow will be back, open your watch and press on the weather icon there ( ex: ☀️ 🌈 🌧️ ). The next time you see 🌧️ is when it will snow in the game and cover everything.

All my pets keep teleporting into all of the roofs, like when i track them they will walk and then go inbetween roofs even if it’s on a different level (like a porch roof) sometimes you can put a staircase but sometimes they are physically inside the roof?
Only thing i could think of is bc the roofs are placed on “floors” maybe the pets are pathfinding the floor?
But I’ve noticed quite a few glitches around the cats and even pets but the dogs are less buggy. They do eat ALOT of food. It gets a bit expensive i wonder if in the future they can patch that make their hunger more reasonable lol

Speaking from experience, with over 700,000 members the channels can get overrun very easily with spam or repetitive questions. So the slowmode is a way to sort of prevent that from occurring. Messages can be read more easily and moderators can keep up with channels more easily as well.

Hey guys, does anyone know where screenshots taken from the game go on my PC? I already took the picture, started downloading it, and it's not showing up anywhere
My C drive only has one folder inside the user directory, which is the public folder but empity. By default, my PC saves downloads to a folder on the D drive, but the path they say is needed (C:/D:/User/(my name)/download) doesn't exist. Instead, it's just D:/a random folder where I save all
By default, I always change the save directory in games, but this game apparently won't let me change it and tries to save to the default folder C:\user\download, but that folder doesn't exist on my PC

I think the best thing to do for now would be to report this to Customer Support in-game to see what options they give you. Not everyone is experiencing this so it’s hard to find a fix. The problem can be the game’s optimization, or maybe your device itself. It’s hard to tell.

You can always try to repair your game by going to the title screen and pressing on the button in the corner with a wrench on it that says Repair. Or you can try a different Internet connection to play on to see if this helps at all ?
