A known solution that has helped others in the past with this issue is to try a different Internet connection just to enter a town ( and then going back to your main WiFi or whatever connection you were using before ).

Every 2-3 minutes i get massive ping spikes. So my ping is going up to 13.000 or sometimes 14.000, causing my game to lag. It doesnt bother me too much, but when i'm fishing or cooking i cant react on time and my food burns or i lose the fish because of said lag. Is there anything i can do?

This is something that more and more players are reporting ✅. I don’t believe it is an issue with your Internet connection, rather the optimization of the game itself for PC ( for example ). I still would suggest maybe trying to restart your router or Internet connection ( forget WiFi then reconnect to the same one again ).

What you can do temporarily until the bug gets fixed is the following ( basically removing your house so your cats are forced to stay on the ground ). You must have access to Blueprints to use this solution.

Save your current home on an empty blueprint ( very important )
Open Blueprint again and select a new / empty one to import.
Press Edit and select solo building / co-building.
Create the new blueprint and then press on View.
Apply the blueprint and now all of your pets should be forced on the ground.

‼️ Because your original house was saved on an empty blueprint, you will be able to go back to it easily any time.

If you don’t wish to do this, it is okay as well. You can simply wait for your pets to come down, or move your roof around to try to reset their position.

Sorry, is there a channel to report bugs? Pets are horribly bugged recently. They keep hiding in roofs, under foundations and sometimes no interaction buttons pop up even when they're right in front of you.

I'm also experience the random spikes in FPS and speed I think. I play on mobile with high settings. Might have something to do with my settings or maybe server load? Idk, but it was fine on the same settings before recent days. The game just isn't running as smoothly as before.

Hope we'll seem some improvement in the next patch regarding these issues.

Something's happening to my account. Our internet was struggling later and my game seemed to malfunction, it just showed the grassland so I thought it was automatically logged out like always.

Around 9:20 I tried to log in, this(first pic) happened. I tried logging out and back in, same thing, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still didn't work. I tried borrowing my sister's tablet to see if she can play on her account and sure enough, she can. So I tried to see if our friend is online and behold MY account is. I joined it and saw it's still there where I left it.

Log in, then on the title page press on the button that looks like this ( it will be on the right side of the screen under those two other buttons you see there ( wrench and headset ). I'm still having issues with the in-game controls. Mainly with fishing, bug catching, and gardening. Fishing freezes me completely, having to restart the game. The bug catching net is stuck in the long range mode when I get the net out, not pointing the correct position. That happens everytime I jump, too. And planting/watering is stuck instantly to select 6 spots, instead of just one (which isn't totally annoying, but still isn't how it should be working). I've disconnected all Bluetooth and switched my mouse & keyboard to wired devices. I've used the repair option on the main menu. I've uninstalled from the Steam store and reinstalled. I really miss fishing and bug catching and I am beyond frustrated. I play on a docked Ally Rog with a keyboard & mouse, now wired and no Bluetooth accessories are connected. I've submitted a ticket, but wondering if anyone else is having this issue?

We’re all experiencing this bug and waiting for the developers to fix it. Your choices are very limited in what to do here.

One thing you can do is simply wait for them to come down.

Another thing would be to go into and move your roof, then save. It should reset your pet’s position.

There is a chance none of these will help though.

I am a player from the UTC+8 time zone. At around 12:00 AM today (January 30), a meteor shower occurred, and I collected new shards from this event. When I visited Doris, I noticed that I only had 60 shards available.

However, I remembered that I still had 30 shards remaining from the previous meteor shower on January 24. I went to my house, retrieved those shards from my house storage, and added them to my backpack. After doing so, I checked my backpack, but it only displayed the 60 newly collected shards instead of a total of 90 shards (old + new).

I would like to ask whether this is a bug or if shards from previous meteor shower events can no longer be used?

Since many days now when I play Heartopia on mobile (iOS) I get graphic bugs that make it unplayable. The shaders start flickering and get progressively worse over time. Sometimes the resolution of the game changes on startup for no reason so the game looks fuzzy too. Restarting the game and even changing servers doesn’t help. On PC this doesn’t happen though.

I originally started playing on my 2022 iPad pro and it was great. Then after the first maintenance period it took a huge dive in overall performance and graphics. I was hoping when I got my M5 but its actually worse. Crops and furniture load and disappear - rotating this cycle, over and over, while I am standing in the same spot. I submitted 2 videos to customer support. The first one showing performance prior to that update and the 2nd after. That was a week ago. No response yet. Me too. The game was fine when I started playing but ever since the big January update, everything seems to get more broken by the day. There’s more glitches than ever.
FYI I’ve played on minimum settings and on maximum settings and anything in between and it doesn’t fix anything. I don’t know if I should report every bug I encounter because to me gameplay progression bugs are a lot worse than graphics. I think fixing the bug that makes everyone’s pets teleport to unreachable places should be the priority. This seems to affect every player regardless of platform.

if your pets are stuck up in the sky or in the ground / you can't interact with them for no reason at all then enter build mode and then exit it. should help! it's a really common bug which is hopefully getting fixed soon by the developers
IF that didn't help:

• start a tea party and then cancel it
• change your town
• restart the game
• turn your wifi on and off
• go to the title screen and press the wrench button
• enter build mode and move roof/wall your pet has been stuck in and then put it back
  alternatively you can wait for them to come down

! those are temporary fixes. if you have this issue again you'll have to redo it

if they aren't in your bag and you're completely sure your bag isn't full, they aren't in the warehouse and haven't been sent in a mail then it's surely some sort of a bug
you can report it ingame!
as a fix i would recommend restarting the game, pressing the wrench button at the title screen, restaring your device and in the end reinstalling the game. not sure if any of those would help :(
that's really weird to be honest that it's some specific items you cannot collect even thought it works normally for all the other ones

There are several things that can potentially cause this. Driver updates is one of the main things. You can also attempt to run the game as admin. If you have overlays of any kinda its reccomended to close those or disable them as well.

What has helped others is changing their Internet connection just to get past this point. It most likely isn’t your actual connection but the game’s optimization the issue. So even if your connection is good, you may still need to try these options.

Oh this is a common bug. We’re waiting for fix on this as well. There are temporary solutions but it’s not always worth the hassle. Eventually they will come down again and be in a normal position again - although it may take a lot of time.

For this, the only solution was to make more space in the C: Drive. One of the Staff members recommended making at least 5 GB of extra space in that Drive for updates which are being put there now. When others have made extra space in that Drive, they were able to get through this.

Even though you don’t have connection issues, the game is having optimization issues and requires players to either restart their Internet connection or try a different one sometimes.

So you just need to use a different Internet connection or restart your connection just to get past this point. Things you can try just to enter a town ( and then switch back to your regular WiFi ) includes:

I’m not sure. From what I recall we reached 10,000,000 players in towns before any of these lag issues. Did you both start at the exact same time ? Because for Europeans the first day was the day the game launched and you only had 2 hours to complete the first set of dailies ( between 4:00 am your time - 6:00 am ). If you didn’t play during that short window then you would be a bit behind.

Hello. There is currently no way to do this as it would cause issues in regards to daily reset and items obtained. Each server functions on a different timing so some servers are more advanced by a few hours.
