Items purchased with hearth or gatcha items, could have the option to sell when they leave the store, thus creating more value on top of the item. And the player can profit from it by valuing the item. And the player who lost the gatcha or the clothes being able to buy.

About gatcha, there should be 2 types of spins. What links the item to your account, not being able to exchange. And the normal turnover that can be traded. This avoids any kind of reward abuse attempt like the 60 we earned at the beginning (in this case they would be linked)

The only thing I really want to suggest is that you'll be able to swim or go across the water, the barrier is sometimes inconvenient and I get stuck in places I don't expect cause the rivers are in the way, like the one in the camping site I like that you're able to go through a small river, idk how u guys will make it work but I think that'd be a nice thing to add in the future.

For server members to be able to create their own voice channels (this can be achieved with the help of a bot like MEE6). With the bot, it'd create a permanent VC channel named something like, "Join to create," where users will be able to connect and upon joining, their own temporary VC will be generated where they'll be moved to automatically. The VCs also automatically disappear once there are no members in call. I feel this would help declutter the 4 existing voice channels as they seem to be quite busy, hectic and overcrowded. Fix Inconsistent World State: Shops, Animals and Quest Items not syncing between players

It’s something that has been constantly bothering me and my friends. It might even make sense for some collectibles like bubbles to only appear for me and not my friends, but this also happens with birds and animals in co-op missions, daily shop catalogs, the Oak-Oak*, and sometimes even the location of certain characters.

It’s really bad for a game focused on playing together with friends to have several crucial gameplay elements occurring differently for each player. It’s frustrating.

The day before yesterday, my friends and I saw items in the shops and told each other to come buy them, but when they arrived, the shop was different. Yesterday, we were doing a co-op mission and we kept seeing different things, making it look like everyone was playing their own individual game.

I believe these gameplay elements should be server-side 'PER ISLAND' and not per player. Besides the experience not being cool, I think it’s also unsafe as it leaves the game vulnerable to hacker attacks.

*This is a suggestion for the discord server and not the game itself.

Instead of having redemption codes just listed in #redeem-codes for the user to copy character by character, which is an absolute pain especially with the codes that a jumble of letters for this.

Doing this upon clicking the text the word will automatically copy into their clipboard.

To do this (on mobile) you just hold down on the apostrophe button (‘). Doing this more apostrophe like symbols will appear. Select the one on the far left (```).

Now just put one ``` on each side of the word you wish to do this to. It should look like this before you send the message and like this after you send the message.

Implementing this feature into the discord server would make copying and redeeming codes in game so much easier and would make a much, MUCH more pleasant experience. It is also really easy to implement and was surprised to see it wasn’t already there.

Hi! I love the new writer feature, it’s super cute and creative.
But I think the book prices are too high compared to how hard it is to earn coins.

Books costing 6k–8k makes most players choose house progression, clothes and all instead of buying books. Cooking, fishing, and photography all take time and attention, so money isn’t easy to get.

Lower book prices (or a price range) and some coin return for authors would really encourage people to read and write for real, not just post short texts to level up.

I’d love to buy books to support other players, but right now it feels unsustainable. I think this feature has huge potential with a small economy adjustment ☺️

Add a way to lock the camera to the mouse when playing through TapTap on PC. Having to hold the mouse button just to look around is super uncomfortable. A simple mouse-lock toggle (or maybe holding ALT to temporarily free the cursor) would make the gameplay feel so much smoother.

When you hit level 15, it says that DG requests supposedly get an upgrade

But they've barely changed, they still give you 10 contribution medals each, even if they are 2 stars or higher? Beyond level 15, you need 80 medals or more to level up

The game's progress on unlocking new content has slowed down to the point where it's feeling slightly tedious

My first suggestion is regarding the learning of furniture blueprints. I think it should be automatic to avoid bugs. The moment you acquire or receive a new piece of furniture, you should automatically learn it, without needing to click on anything on the side panel.

My second suggestion is about farm animals. I think it would be interesting to have some farm animals that could be purchased, maybe from the gardening NPC itself. Animals such as chickens, cows, ducks, geese, horses, etc. I also don’t see why there shouldn’t be an option to hunt animals to prepare recipes—we already do this with fish...

Do the devs think we can use wishing stars or blue hearts to do gacha pulls or something? because I can't figure out why else this game has been so extremely stingy with gacha pulls.

please consider at least enough to do 1 pull a day. this is very common in most gacha games. currently it's 0 pulls ever, thats the current rate of free pulls unless the devs bless us for some big milestone

on the very least the paid subscription should be getting you 1/2 pulls a day. I actually pay for both subs and I STILL feel like I'm getting nothing! in most gacha games I ever played, I dont pay at all, but i love this game so much I decided to support it, and it still feels worse for rate of pulls VS games I never paid a penny into

The chat box above Bailey J is awkwardly high, and I have to tilt the camera to speak with him.

-A shortcut to put away seeds/fertilizer.

-A honk option for the car/bike.

Events should show your total score even if the quota is met.
Some events should scale in difficulty if the initial goal is met.
For example, the bubble event is 30, but once 30 bubbles are popped, then the reward will be claimed, and the total should then increase to 40 or 50.
When gifting food, the receiver should have the option to keep instead of eating the meal immediately.
Option to gift clothing or furniture to friends. (This should require a star or cooldown, so it's not spammed from experienced players to new players)
Option to trade clothing or furniture with friends.

Hello! I have quite a few suggestions after playing for the last week. I filled out the survey but figured it would be good to share here too. I realize a lot of suggestions are being made so i apologize if any of these have already been mentioned. For starters, lets talk pets. I think it would be great to add a feature to be able to return your pet to the adoption center as I have seen people mention not liking having pets at all, after having already adopted them. I also think this would be nice for those who adopted a pet but end up wanting a different breed, instead of having to wait to level up a pet they may not like. I am also not a huge fan of the boarding pets option, personally, as it only allows us to have one dog and cat out at a time among having to pay a large amount for boarding them, along with not getting access to your pet again for a full day. I don't see why we wouldn't be able to have at least 2-3 dogs/cats each on our property at a time. Though I do think walking only once at a time is understandable, or at least implementing a leash to walk two or three at a time. I also think there should be a call button to summon your pet from home if need be, rather than having to travel home to retrieve them. Additionally, I would love to eventually see other pets implemented into the game such as cows that can produce daily milk, chickens that can produce daily eggs. horses you can ride around, hamsters, turtles, etc. and being able to name our fish and insects that we put into our tanks. On to the next topic, building. I think build mode leaves a lot to be desired as it is difficult to use. Specifically applying a roof to your home is extremely challenging, even for more experienced gamers. Revising build mode to make it easier for players would be very helpful as it can be time consuming in a tedious way. I have also noticed even after saving in build mode, sometimes there is a bug that deletes your saved progress anyways. While on the subject of building, I also wanted to mention the controls. I have had multiple friends mention that the game has made them extremely motion sick, even when turning the camera sensitivity to zero. If there could be a better way to make the game smoother or add auto camera rotation in settings this would allow a wider variety of people to play and for longer. Mentioning longer play time, I enjoy how there is many goals to achieve among various locations in game, though I do think there should be more daily tasks to complete a day that refresh throughout the day. Same with more weekly quests as well, as right now there is only one. This will allow new players to level up a bit faster to catch up with their friends and be able to do the same things that they can while also giving players more to do. Moving on to the topic of friends, I would love to eventually see more life sim additions in the game such as, dating, marriage, living with other players, and more interactive items in game! This would be a lot of fun and add to the depth of the world along with more fun player and friend interactions. I would also love to see the cars be able to seat 4-5 players at a time as some friend groups are larger and want to travel together easier. I have also seen players mention wanting to be able to share photos taken with their friends and to be able to send gifts to other players such as furniture, clothing, items, etc.

(Continued from my first suggestion, and most important to me) Lastly, I want to talk about the acorn guild and buying a membership. I think that the memberships leave little to be desired as you do not get much from them. Only receiving 2 exhibition passes a day is hardly usable as you would have to wait 3 days for one draw and 30 days for 10 draws, and that's not including the ones that go up in price with every draw you make. The same goes for the blue hearts received. I think there should be more ways to earn exhibition passes without spending real money and I think a battle pass for the membership would be more appealing as you can earn way more blue hearts and exhibition passes along with unique items. This is really my biggest hope for the game as there are so many gachas and not enough ways to get exhibition passes specifically. Also drawing the same items over and over again just to not receive any more passes, nor receive enough tokens to buy anything in the shop is highly disappointing. I think you would make more money in investing in a paid membership/battle pass where you give away way more exhibition passes, tokens, blue hearts and other unique battle pass items rather than forcing players to buy everything individually. Players would rather spend money knowing they're getting more for it! I have a few suggestions regarding the book writing feature. It is really fun right now but there are some things that could be even better!

This is my main suggestion - please make it so ppl can read other ppls books that are not just from friends! I can only see some of my friends books. Maybe have a refresh feature or a separate tab for friends and strangers. A search function would also be nice so I can see others books. Otherwise, it will take forever to level up, especially with those who don't have many friends and need like 30 or so likes/buys just to get to level 2!
Please make books stand upright! I want to be able to stack on top of them.
Book Shelves! So I can collect my friends books and Heartopia ones.
Please increase the limit for pictures and chapters.

For the western clothing set (and honestly any other), can we stop associating the color red with all the black sets? I love black, but I personally don’t like red. For example- the black western hat (cowboy hat) comes with red accents. Same with the western boots. I want o be able to plaace short grass, different bushes, flowers for decoration that are separate from the ones we plant for crossbreeding, and various trees and sizes. I like enjoy having lots of foliage in my landscaping but it easily starts to look repetitive with only a few options. We also can't place trees close to our houses without them clipping through the walls - it would be nice if they would be cut off by walls and not clip through or give us different options of trees, tall, skinny, etc.

taller fence options! Id like to create a backyard with some "privacy" so that it feels more enclosed and cozy. It would be nice to have fences that are a bit higher than our characters and high enough so that other players can't jump over them into our yards. With this, it would be great to have some fence gate options!

Additionally, I'd love the option to lock certain doors, I wan't to have my house available for people to come explore or say hi but not for every room. It is also really annoying that all the doors in your house open every time you leave furniture mode. I currently have 9 doors and I don't like having to close them everytime I change something in my house!

Lastly, I think it would be fun to have a doorbell option so if our doors are locked, other players can ring our doorbell to get our attention and let us know they're outside.

As previously mentioned, the ability to "select" parts of the house, or even the entire house, could be added so that we can move it around as we unlock more plots;
More co-op and solo events. The game is highly interactive, yet it lacks interactivity. Pet events, clothing events, racing events...;

More cat and dog breeds (especially Shar-Pei and Chow Chow, I would love to see my puppy in the game :)). And maybe even exotic pets;

More missions, even with low reward value. The game gets a bit stagnant after the daily quests;
As a final suggestion, perhaps reduce the waiting time for the stores to reset, or even add the possibility of one update cycle per day, so that no one would be left behind and, at the same time, the game wouldn't become boring with the fact that we would log in and simply find nothing interesting. (And please, let us color Bob's furniture, or at least choose from some color options - even if limited).

I would love to suggest a new form of cooking. Instead of just getting recipes, how about experimenting via putting ingredients in a pot to create new recipes?

To me, the Cooking Hobby isn't as fun, because we have to lvl up to get new recipes BUT 1) we don't lose energy fast enough to have the need to cook all the time & 2) food doesn't spoil, so we don't need to cook every day.

I am currently in a "Cook a Salman Bagel 10 times" quest & it's not exactly fun. It's easy but it's not fun. Getting a Reward is the only reason I'm continuing haha

Changing the auto translator.
It should be able to translate what others are saying without having to change your own language to the one they're writing in. I am not sure why it can't detect the language being written doesn't match your current setting and translate it. On top of that, you have to relog after changing the language. Which, can come across as rude if you can't tell the person to wait while you change your own language to what they're speaking, because they also don't speak your language, and suddenly vanish after they have spoken. And then you're playing the game in a language you can't read.

i'd like to be able to have my exact dog irl in the game without having to wait a long time... it's already been 2-3 days.

the idea would be to pay a fee (i would make it a hefty price but not unattainable, example: 5000 coins), to submit a form for the type of pet you want, where you can choose the breed, gender, and personality of the cat or dog.

maybe, there could be a board in the pet store which shows adoption wishlists, and if you have that pet in your lineup that day, you can send that pet to that person for a reward (maybe you can earn the 5000 coin reward!)
alternatively, if nobody is able to send your wishlisted pet within 24 hours, it will be fulfilled by "a pet store from another city, how wonderful!"

I think there should be more freedom in placing seats besides tables, especially round tables.
Since I could only put them with 90 degrees turns so it could properly slide under the dining table.
Meanwhile the dining sets could be arranged with 45 degrees turn without issues.
I think most of the issue falls because the table has a solid square hitbox, thus making its corners inaccessible with chairs. Ideally it should follow the dining table shape, in this case a round one.

I would love to see the addition of no collision being added so that we can combine already existing furniture to create new unique ideas. The addition of more roof options, e.g. single sinded slanted roofs for more modern buildings. More terrain options possibly even the feature to add water and hills. More asian architecture representation like Shoji, Tori gates, Pagodas ect. Pathing would be a great addition to create unique paths to make your home feel more natural and spice up your exterior.

Ive noticed a huge disparity in the gatcha, having put in thousands of pink gems, the amount of duplicates you get is genuinely ridiculous and the garuntee 4-5 star item is sometimes a duplicate too, which is discouraging.

If you want people to play the gatcha more and be satisfied with it, i would suggest the following:

A. reduce the cost of the Gatcha overall so you arent wasting 600 pink gems on a sea of duplicates which dont even garner enough points to get a nicer item to make up for it.

B. Keep the cost the same but reduce the odds of getting duplicates, have it be so every 10 pulls you are garunteed an item you dont have.
This makes getting all the other items as duplicates, less frustrating

And/Or C. Increase the value of vouchers recieved from duplicates and have all decoration items available to trade for vouchers.

Additionak suggestion: Giving people a free daily chance at the Gatcha would be a good idea too if you wont/cant fix the duplicate rate, this can also entice people on the fence about spending to actually consider it if they get an item they like, but it also makes non spenders feel less like they are missing out on the opportunity to own things thier neighbours do.

Less people will be willing to spend on the gatcha if all they keep getting are duplicates.
This game is amazing and fun but the Gatcha is your problem area right now for the longevity of the game and its relationship with willing spenders.

As an example i spent over 2400 gems yesterday chasing the bay window and i got only 2 items i didnt have (that i didnt care for) out of the many i dont have and i barely got enough vouchers for a 660 item, that's really bad and leaves a bad taste in the players mouth.

So please, could we look into this?

I would like to give a suggestion to give us a way to earn the exhibition passes without needing to use money to get them. releasing codes for exhibition passes won’t be enough to cover our want to get certain cosmetics from the game while wanting to not spend on it because the game can also be “f2p friendly”

I know the game has just been released, but the amount of currency needed to do a 10 pull and not providing a source on how to get it without paying money is too much, isn’t it? its like locking away or gatekeeping the better looking cosmetics by a paywall that cant be earned in the game through daily quests or something else.

“gacha games” usually have a way to earn the draw currencies — now I know heartopia is solely focused on building and interacting with other people, but please provide us a way to earn the exhibition passes / draw currency by doing daily quests/quests because we also want to get cosmetics while staying “f2p friendly”

Music and Instruments: There is a lot of improvement needed for playing instruments on mobile; the buttons are very small and close together, making it really difficult to play anything. The buttons need to either just be larger and more spaced out or adjustable, its become very frustrating playing music and that's sad because thats usually my favorite part of these games. There is also an audio delay, the note doesn't play when you hit the button, it plays a second or so after, which messes up timing when playing music.
Pets: Pets get in the way often or are constantly making noises; an option for pets to be muted would be amazing because its actually unbearable to have the sound on because of just how frequently the dog follows me around and barks and barks. Pets also get in the way when gardening, rearranging, or cooking for example. I think they should also not be able to walk through walls and doors, and maybe have a 'go lay down' option just to get them out of the way if the collision stays on since we are encouraged to have the pets for tasks and hobbies. The pet training/playing mini-games (especially for the cats) are also very tedious and slow, which makes it feel like a burden to level up pets in general.

I have noticed, when deleting trees, you do not get the materials back that you used to make those with. This wouldnt be an issue if those materials would not be limited to getting them 3 times a day. Ability to own multiple plots, not just blue prints.

Plots would be able to be saved and when you load them in, they spawn all that you built on it without having to purchase it again. But if you change something on this plot, it will also be changed when loading the plot in. Not like a blue print where you can save it and have it rebuild it for you. Owning multiple plots could come with a 10k or so coin fee. I would not mind.
It also means all furniture placed in that plot stays in thay plot. You have ti either take it out of the plot or get it again to place it in a different plot.

I feel the game currently leans heavily toward female-oriented content, especially in clothing and gacha rewards. Let's be honest; this steam port is a joke. The game NEEDS controller support. The mobile version was literally almost 1:1 copy pasted into steam. Left and right click aren't different actions, they just change action based on the side of the screen you're on when you click(for the most part.) This port needed to cook longer.

You also need to disclose the GenAI usage on steam. I'm not here to discuss the ethics of AI. I'm here to say that steam has a policy about it being disclosed when it used in a game for art or other media in the game. People deserve to know everything they're signing up for when they look through a store page.

I want to see Heartopia THRIVE. All the little hiccups add up and it can eventually cause people to leave faster than you think. Mobile games have a hard enough time retaining a playerbase. Don't make the same mistakes as many other mobile developers/publishers.

in my past few days experience playing this game i have few specific struggles that i hope to be adjusted in the future.

please focus and prioritising more towards the adjusment of gameplay on pc (and support for controller) not only this is crucial for the sake of gaming standard but also a core of whether or not people going to play the game in the future.
also whenever you're using tools (other than axe) it's impossible for you to respond towards other stuff that requires the action button (such as when you're harvesting). so i truly hope you can still do other action without having to remove your tools—which is such a chore at some circumstances. either with constantly change the action button whenever you're close with the harvestable objects OR make every harvestable objects have its own button on top of them (like flowers) for you to manually harvest them without having to change/remove your tools.
and please take the A.I. case seriously too! considering the game is now on steam with more mass audiences it's better to fix as soon as possible and shut the whole discourse down with proper apologise, thanks!

Please allow per door default settings, or return doors to the state they were in before you opened the construction menu. Right now all the doors open automatically when you enter construction mode so you can enter all the rooms(unless they are portal only lol). The problem is they stay open when you leave construction mode. I want some doors open and some closed unless they are used. (Yes I close my doors behind me, I'm not a heathen! Who leaves all their doors open‽) This means I have to go through and reset every single door every single time I make a tweak, add items or any kind of construction. For players who have locked rooms by not allowing visitors to use doors, this also means they need to reclose them every time. Per door defaults or return to pre construction status fixes these.

Right now when in painting mode, part 1 and 2 share colours. Part 3 and 4 share colours. Making it very difficult to match the right colours. Make it so that all parts have equal amounts of colours and have the same colours as well. This will allow use to have more fun with colours and feel less frustrated when one specific part just doesn't want to match because the colour is slightly different compared to the rest of the item.
