I got up front at the rise against concert years ago, I am 5'5 and I was surrounded by 6'+ dudes, as soon as the music hit, I copped elbows to every part of my upper body! I lasted about a minute and had to get out!!! I dont think I'd fare too well trying again, but damnit, I want to give it a crack next time! See if I can last longer than a minute ahahaha

I dont, but keep checking tixel. Are you getting emails when tickets are available? I managed to get a ticket for adelaide the morning of the show, and then as the day went on, tixel had a whole bunch come up. We were in the actual venue and I still had emails come through that there were tickets

Just a heads up, my husband tested himself for covid this morning and it's positive. I'm testing now so just waiting for the results. May be from the show. May not be. We do have 3 school age kids so there's also every chance it could have come from the school. But I thought I'd let you know just incase it's something that was going around at the show

Glad to hear it's negative! The kids and I seem fine, so I wouldn't be surprised if they got it from school and passed it on with no symptoms, apparently it has been going around their school 🙃

We got it last year in August. It sucked, but it wasn't the worst. Still bad enough that I didn't want it again. But I also ended up with a sinus infection and a minor ear infection at the end so that made it feel worse again ahaha! We just got over a respiratory virus a few weeks ago, and judging by how my husband looks at the moment compared to the other week, he looks like he's doing better at this stage, so I'm hoping it's a sign he will be fine.

Definitely hope yours is just a cold though, I've actually heard of heaps of colds and viruses going around at the moment, so keeping my fingers crossed yours is minor and you'll be better soon 😊

My friend in Melbourne got cocid after the show too, but admittedly she also went to another show the next night as well as good things, so it could have come from any of those haha I would have been surprised if she came out with nothing! I did see on facebook a handful of people at the Brisbane show have covid now. I think there's just a lot of covid at the moment. Better to get it now instead of at Christmas I reckon 🤣

Agreed! I tested my kids before school yesterday and one came back negative si I kept them all home to be safe. I'm glad I kept them home because they tested positive today. Thankfully everyone is fine but we are definitely staying home til we are all bettwr
