Hello,
I’m inquiring on behalf of another server administrator managing the financials about issues with purchasing a commercial server license through PayPal using their account balance.
I have read through the previous support tickets but could not see a definitive solution to this problem. Could you possibly provide some insight?
Other services are paid in similar ways hence the need for support.

Apparently it's just a problem paypal is having for some reason
According to the last person, it ended up using their balance anyways when they used a card
I think it's just asking for a card as some kind of fraud prevention? I'm not entirely sure
Do you have another service with a paypal recurring payment (not a regular payment) where it just let you use balance without asking you for a card?

Hi, I have the same problem, but I can make other recurring payments using the funds in my PayPal account. Is there any way to fix this?

There's not really much I can do, PayPal doesn't tell me why it's not working either
