#About commercial usage and whitelisting

Hi, I'm helping one of my friends making a server and I want to recommend her Axiom to build the spawn.

The thing is, I have no idea if this server qualifies as "non-commercial"
She's a streamer and sometimes does a server to play with people, the server is fully open to anyone but has a single "premium" rank.
And that's basically my concern, while the rank is not purchasable directly (and at least so far is only a vanity tag) it is like a reward for people that are subscribed, and well... those cost money, even if the intention is not to sell something.

When I first started using Axiom I swear I read the "commercial usage" only covered selling the builds themselves, but after reading https://discord.com/channels/1123229768087777330/1209648609990156299 again, I'm not so sure if that will cover the server as well.

I am fully aware the first month is completely free to use, but since we will most likely make another server after 4-5 months or so, it will be a shame to recommend something that she will be unable to use the next time.

-# Probably worth mentioning, but I do have a personal commercial license for myself

Commercial Use

If you are making money from your work using Axiom, a Commercial License is required.

What qualifies as commercial use?
Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:

  • Freelance builders using Axiom for commissions
  • Build teams working for Marketplace teams
  • Monetized servers using builds made with Axiom, including those in development, not yet profitable or not released to the public
  • Any similar use where Axiom is being used to make money

What doesn't qualify as commercial use?
You may request free multiplayer support for 90 days (renewable) by applying for a Whitelist in #whitelist-request if you meet the following criteria. You may also apply on behalf of others, as long as the information provided is true.

  • Creating builds for personal use (eg. to recreate in survival, for your own enjoyment, etc.)
  • Creating video/stream content (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok)
  • Making free-to-play maps for Realms or PlanetMinecraft

-# If your specific situation is not mentioned here, please make a post describing it in #1126378807813734431 and wait for Team Members or Staff to answer.

yh, the rank is what got me puzzled, the intention is not to say "hey, if you want a rank, subscribe" is more like "you're already subscribed, here's your rank as a thank you"
I can also ask her if we could make it based on those twitch points that people earn by just watching

Considering its only vanity and is more of a stream benefit than an ingame benefit its fine
