#Confirming Whitelist and Commercial License Requirements

I know the whitelist was approved this time, and I know that any server using a store is subject to a commercial license. I wanted to confirm a few things.

Will a commercial license be needed for next time and would it be a monthly thing? Assuming it is, is the main reason why that is is because of the builds created with Axiom? But if the staff uses Axiom to only modify or copy hand built builds that would still need a commercial license right?

I just wanted to confirm because I didn't know if I needed a commercial license or not.

We do plan to sell only ranks and permissions in the modded server but nothing with Axiom access or any builds. We will mainly use it to import builds from our build server to modded server if it's possible.

Commercial Use

If you are making money from your work using Axiom, a Commercial License is required.

What qualifies as commercial use?
Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:

  • Freelance builders using Axiom for commissions
  • Build teams working for Marketplace teams
  • Monetized servers using builds made with Axiom, including those in development, not yet profitable or not released to the public
  • Any similar use where Axiom is being used to make money

What doesn't qualify as commercial use?
You may request free multiplayer support for 30 days (renewable) by applying for a Whitelist in #whitelist-request if you meet the following criteria. Reapplication is required every 30 days, and you may also apply on behalf of others.

  • Creating builds for personal use (eg. to recreate in survival, for your own enjoyment, etc.)
  • Creating video/stream content (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok)
  • Making free-to-play maps for Realms or PlanetMinecraft

-# If your specific situation is not mentioned here, please make a post describing it in #1126378807813734431 and wait for Team Members or Staff to answer.

Ah, I see. I'll notify the owner of the network about it.
