I have been using axiom with forge (with synitra connector) for a long time and only started happening now

All I know is that the error with fonts has only every happened to people on Forge
Presumably it's an incompatibility with one of the other mods you have installed

Hmm I did add 2 new ones today (one added, one updated) but I then tried to downgrade one to a version that worked before and removing the other one added, still crashed, I think the one time it gave a seemingly different crash might have been when Embeddium was removed (because of the message at the top I assumed it was Embeddium at first)

Sinytra might have a cache that you can delete?
It might have unpacked Axiom incorrectly or something and not included the font

I can try that, I think I tried removing any mod that was added/updated today, every other mod has been working with axiom for a while so far, I played the modpack yesterday and barely updated anything besides one or two mods
doesn't seem like it worked, I did also try without axiom's config file

Maybe try creating a new profile and adding mods until it breaks

I think I found what mod could be causing, it started crashing the new instance when I added Croptopia, same error msg was the main modpack, except for the "// Embeddium instance tainted by mods: [bbs] // Please do not reach out for Embeddium support without removing these mods first." part

it's weirder when in the main modpack, I removed Axiom and it still crashed with the same msg

tried an older instance of the modpack that I exported a couple days ago, before I updated or added anything today, and it loaded fine (while when I tried removing or downgrading in the recent one it kept crashing anyway) problem with that is any mod update causes the crash again
When Axiom isn't in there, it seems to be caused by Convenient Decor and Items Displayed [Fabric] and without those everything else loads fine

Was there a definite solution to this? It's asking about Inter-medium.ttf font.

I ended up backdating everything I updated today and the issue was corrected.
but it was a list of about 35 mods so I dont know exactly which one causes the issue
Looks like anything that runs off of Moonlight Lib (and the library itself) cause the issue
