Is there a gamerule or other setting that i can use to disable the ability for pressing left alt switching to creative? I love to use axiom for my creative drafting for my survival world, but if i have cheats on in my survival world, it will switch me to creative when hitting left alt which i do not want

Yes, there's a hidden config option to disable it

Go to .minecraft/config/axiom/axiom.hocon

And set autoSwapToCreative to false
