I believe the Anti-malware/virus service you're using or "Virustotal" blocks and immediately rejects all .exe files. You are going to have to temporarily disable or uninstall Virustotal to download it unless you want to go through the files of your Anti-virus to disable it. The same thing happened to me when I downloaded fabric where I had to uninstall Mcafee for downloading it.
