#Retroid Pocket 5 / Mini - PortMaster Testing

Important notable hardware changes that may or may not cause port issues: analog triggers and touchscreen. When reporting an issue here please be clear on what cfw version you’re using, which port, and reproduction steps. Thank you.

I've been looking on how to force the native use of an external gamepad controller on the RP mini. I've my hacksdl stub but it doesn't work in every cases. So I'm gonna share with you this, brutal, solution: disable the controller of the RP mini (temporary). You just have to run in ssh rmmod retroid. Then the other connected gamepad controller will become the primary 😄 To restore you just run modprobe retroid or reboot 🙂
How is compatibility with port master games on the rp5/ RP mini on rocknix? Does everything everyone has tested so far work and is there potential more powerful ports that people know about That are on the way?
Most of the ports I've tried work. The only port I have issues with is Stardew Valley. The L2 and R2 are not recognized correctly and it leads to endless scrolling on the hotbar.
I have a patch for this
I’ll try to find it and share it here
Oh wow thank you!
here you go
@astral rover does this still fix the L2/R2 endless scrolling issue for you? I launched Stardew-Kdog with this hacksdl and I still get the endless scrolling behavior. I also tried adding HACKSDL_AXIS_DIGITAL_TRIGGERLEFT and HACKSDL_AXIS_DIGITAL_TRIGGERRIGHT (not sure if this is even valid) to the hacksdl.conf file with no luck. Any help would be appreciated!
Well I dunno but it’s better now too use my gamepad calibration tool included in Rocknix (in the tool section). Calibrate the trigger and it should fix the problem
