Wangtianyi has been ranked number one in Chinese chess for ten consecutive years. He did not come from the usual school, but practiced chess in his spare time until he went to university, and was nicknamed “Alien” because he came out of nowhere as a “halfway house” player. He is also known as the “benchmark of contemporary chess”, and as an AI, he is very good at calculations and is fluent in various languages.
