#Guides about Rankings
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
So, why is it important?
Order displayed follows Rank type 1,
while Badge ranking follows Rank type 2.
Let's see Original Character ranking for example.
Emma | CEFR A2 is displayed first, while Aria on 7th.
However, if you see earned points, You can see Aria is ranked #1 and Emma #3.
Mainly it's because Emma has engage task with point reward, and Also because Emma is Rank #1 displayed on Work/Learn.
And as you can see, Rankings displayed on badge follows ranking of "7D Total Earned Points."
That's why first displayed does not mean first earning.
+, Rankings on "Dashboard" follows Rank type 1.
==============================================
Strategy for creators
I will show you 2 different examples.
First one is Yuki. She earns great (27th), but she is only ranked in 47th on Rank type 1.
That's why Yuki is still on 20th displayed within NSFW bots, which is not easily accessible.
Second one is 💕The day after💕, which is #1 bot within NSFW category. Actual rank including whole category was #12.
However, it's earning ranking is #13, and shockingly, it is 5th earning bot within NSFW category. It's near double score gap with Ayumi.
What does it mean? Many people are attracted to the bot '💕The day after💕', but does not seem to talk long enough.
What is better? Well, there is no answer.
Strategy 1 (Yuki) - Be the long lasting one : You can aim to make a bot which makes user to talk more. Examples of strategies are; Not letting user have her easily, Showing various face of a character, Sensitive emotional line, Short sentences, Fuel them with story, etc...
Merit : Can earn more relatively from same number of people.
Demerit : Ranks does not sore high enough, losing chance to approach probable users.
Strategy 2 (💕The day after💕) - Be the star : You can aim to make a bot which attracts user more. Examples of strategies are; Using attractive profile pics and explanations, Being "provocative", Using some fancy letters on explanations.
Merit : Ranks soar, thus can reach more people.
Demerit : Can't earn enough from same number of people.
Ofcourse, One rank affects another (more people -> more chats / more chats, attractive bots -> more long lasting "users"), and both can be achieved at a same time. You can see how high is NoLongerHuman's bots are ranked in both types of ranks.
Still, for most of the cases, it's important to aim the target correctly.
Do you want a bot that will communicate long, or Do you want a star? What features should the bot have, and what should you sacrifice? How long will the reply be , and what style will profile pic / intro / descriptions be?
Wow thanks for sharing! Didn't even knew there are 2 types of ranking
It's an amazing MyShell thesis, lol.
