In-Chat Name (Optional) - In some cases, you may want the display name of the character in search to be different from its name when you're chatting with the character. For example, I may want the display name to be "Generic Anime Protagonist" whilst having the name while chatting be "Midoriya." This is what the In-Chat Name field is for.
-
Alternate greetings (Optional) - These are alternate greetings that your character could say at the start of a conversation. Users are then able to swipe through these greetings to choose one they like. When making alternate greetings it is required that you append "<START>" at the beginning of each message so that we can know when each message ends and begins and properly display them.

Chat Memory - This is where you either manually enter a summary of the conversation thus far or have the AI generate one. Either way, the summary will be sent to the AI as additional context for the conversation. There's also the Auto Summarization feature which, when enabled, will auto-generate a summary each time a message is sent. When it comes to generating summaries, we use a method similar to the Aisu Auto Summarizer. Meaning, we only summarize the messages that are out of context (aka messages that the AI no longer remembers)

Wow that's a lot! Thanks for your suggestions! We'll carefully review this and see what we can do!
I am replying to this post from a long time ago because I think the feedback given from a user's perspective is extremely valuable. I hope the team can take some time to review it, as some of the suggestions mentioned here seem to have already been implemented by other AI role-playing bot platforms.
I understand that the team may have other considerations and priorities, but please take a look at this.
I would really like the Edit function for AI and user sent messages.
Unfortunately I still don't know when they'll add it.
Yes, I really like it too, hope they add it in the future ╰(´︶`)╯
