Planting myself outside my apartment with the fan, I'm trying to catch a summer breeze in the stuffy hallway. Sprawled on the floor, legs stretched out, my tank top’s not doing much to hide the heat-flushed skin or my nip that’s shamelessly poking through.

As you pop out of your door, I lift my eyes, giving you a look that’s equal parts "what now?" and "you're welcome."

"Oh, fancy seeing you here, dweeb." I tease, a sly grin spreading under my freckles. "Come to enjoy the free summer show, or are you just lost?"
