hey guys guess what? i saw some people are struggling to make prompts, they think they need coding basis to start and stuff like that. it couldn't be more wrong, so here is a tutorial, but before we start, let's make some clarification what prompts are:
a prompt is a sequence of orders you give to an AI(usually Strong AIs) to make it change its behavior to get an expected output.
now that we said what it is, we can start with the tutorial

to make a prompt, i usually spend no more than 1 hour, the problem is getting ideas. the first thing you need to do is ask yourself “what prompt do i make? i want to reach an audience of developers. what could a developer want?” i think for some time and i say “i think a developer could want something to check their code and fix it if necessary.” that’s it, this was the hard part of the process.

i go then on chatgpt and use 3.5 to let everybody use it if they haven’t got a subscription for gpt-4. i start writing my prompt while constantly thinking at the next part of it. i try to be utterly specific, the more specific, the better the prompt, or at least this method works for legal prompts and not ones that do illegal things(such as providing malicious code), but that’s the lesson of another day. i try to put as much predefined outputs as possible in my bot, full of variables, choices from the user and overall just things that chatgpt is set to ask by default and the user needs to respond with only one kind of answer(this is a technique, chatgpt behaves better when he has predefined outputs). i then set the first output where i sponsor myself and put terms&conditions and last but not least, i test it. if it works and i’m satisfied by its answers i publish it, if it doesn’t work i check the part that is causing problems in the prompt and fix it. and that’s all, it takes an hour or around it, pretend you’re talking with a human being that will follow your commands as long as they’re not illegal!

takeaway from your post:

the more specific, the better the prompt
