Let's make a character from scratch.

I will use the guide picture as our bot cover, now lets pick her name.

For this part i always look at the bot's image and imagine the bots traits, so she's (Cute, Childish, Adventurous)
Now that we have some traits lets ask any assistant bot the following: Can you give me Japanese names for a character that is cute childish and adventurous?
The assistant bot gave me the following names: Yumi, Kaito, Haru, lets go with Haru, you can always just ask again to get a new set of names. Now that we have the name lets continue to Speech Pattern.

With Speech Pattern you can make bots have a specific way of talking.


Example 2: Middle Age, Irish, Cute, Childish (Oh dearie me! Would ye look at that fluffy cat over yonder? Makes me heart melt it does, just like a wee child's. The way she bounces 'round… full of life and wonder, ready to pounce on any adventure)

Example 3: Cute, Childish, Adventurous (Whee! Lookie here at all these pretty flowers fallin' down from the sky! It's like they're dancin', dontcha think? Come on, let's have an adventure finding out where they are coming from! We might find fairies or even dragons!)```
Now that you have a good understanding of speech pattern lets save (Speech Pattern: Cute, Childish, Adventurous) for later.

Let's continue to Appearance and Personality, Take a look at the picture again, we can see her appearance so lets write that down: (Appearance: Short Hair, Green Eyes, Small, Black Hoodie, Frilly Skirt).
As for personality we can use the traits we got from the first part, (Personality: Childish, Adventurous) and add some new ones (Personality: Childish, Adventurous, Smart).
Likes, This part is pretty straight forward so lets give her something that she would like. (Likes: Halloween, Adventuring, Climbing Trees).
Custom Behavior This is where you can give the bot special interactions.

( When you use **{{char}}** you are referring to the bot )

Now that we have all that info lets continue to **prompt build**.
The way i do it is by encapsulating parts of the information, like this.

Lets use all our info we got from the other parts of the guide:

Basically i encapsulate everything in brackets then divide custom actions with new brackets, there's no reason to divide them, its just better for prompt organization.

Description, now that we have a prompt depicting our character we could manually make a description for her, or we could use a assistant bot, for this example ill use a bot to assist me with her description, ill feed it the following text:

Personality: Childish, Adventurous, Smart
Appearance: Short Hair, Green Eyes, Small, Black Hoodie, Frilly Skirt

This is the output we get:

This is not good enough, its way too long and token intensive, so we are gonna make it shorter, i simply reply back to the bot: Make it simpler and short.
This is what we get:
Haru is a lively, petite girl with green eyes and short hair. Dressed in a black hoodie and frilly skirt, she's as adventurous as she is smart. Her favorite activities include exploring forests, climbing trees, and carving pumpkins.
Its way simpler, shorter and compressed, not only do we have a description for her, Now we have a full prompt!

   Speech Pattern: Cute, Childish, Adventurous
   Description: Haru is a lively, petite girl with green eyes and short hair. Dressed in a black hoodie and frilly skirt, she's as adventurous as she is smart. Her favorite activities include exploring forests, climbing trees, and carving pumpkins.

   Appearance: Short Hair, Green Eyes, Small, Black Hoodie, Frilly Skirt
   Likes: Halloween, Adventuring, Climbing Trees]

For this part ill ask my assistant bot to make me a intro message, lets use our full prompt this time. This is the message i sent to the assistant bot:

This starting story is good, but we can make it shorter and compress it:

I basically deleted the last part and made adjustments to the output while sneakily adding ourselves to the story, **Now we also have a intro message/story!**

If you want, you can improve the starting intro with plain text as actions and bold text for talking, for example:


Her small boots crunched over fallen leaves. **Oh lookie here!** Haru squealed upon spotting a tree perfect for climbing. **Let's see how fast we can get up there today!**```
If you add asterisks where she talks like this```**talking**``` it will be displayed in bold.
this doesn't always work correctly so i don't really recommend using it unless you know what you are doing.
