Platinum is the server-side currency of the Multiplayer Mod. It is currently only winnable by defeating or catching Wild Pokémons and serves for Trading and the GTS. It will later serve other purposes.
To turn off the Platinum notification pop-up , simply open the chat and write "/turnoff Platinum"

based on the pokemon that is on your side when the wild faints
takes into account the "easiness" of the battle
the more a battle is easy , the less plat you get

i beat this trainer and got the popup for 6 plat
couldn't confirm if i actually got plat from it since i didn't see my plat beforehand and rematch didn't give any

I really wish i checked my plat beforehand, but i encountered a level 38 graveler from breaking a rock, and it gave me 26 plat on capture
