All your ladybug will use different sprites if the "Individual Custom Sprite" feature is turned ON in the options menu (which it is by default).

You can't select a sprite in the pokedex, if all pokemons will use all the sprites anyway Shrug

TL;DR: Not a bug, if you want to only use 1 sprite per pokemon and select it, disable the feature in the options menu
