Player would easily dead when being attack by the monster and got a HIT RECOVER time. In this Cool Down time, player can do nothing and would killed by lots of monsters around you.
In normal case, so many battle games would solve that issue.
Also, player could be knocked out of the field by the monster's attack like a ping-pong ball with the physics system.
Yes, monster is attacking you like playing ping-pong.
During the Cool Down time you can't escape, can't jump over, just waiting to be kill by monsters's AI script for fun.
But I don't think it is fun. Please don't butcher me, don't abuse me. Please fix that.

That annoys be too whenever I do dungeon runs for resources. I usually craft invisibility potions in abundance, and down those when I can't be bothered fighting monsters. You can't jump away while using the staff to defend yourself, and the rocks and ores sometimes gets you stuck so you have no way of escaping in time before they attack

Only thing you can do is level up your staff and abilities, and then hope you can attack and kill the monsters before they have the chance to attack. But when there's more than one monster around you, another one gets the chance to attack you from behind while you're preoccupied with the one in front of you

In Game Dev situation. There's some word like Difficulty Control and Numerical Design.
I just hope the game can be easy playable instead of challeging the players.
They are not Bosses but players would feel like fighting with a difficult Boss.

Yeah that's also annoying. It's like they see you and THEN attack without you even posing as a threat towards them. I also think it'll be a good idea to add a toggle on that. Or just change the way the monsters initiate an attack. Not everyone is into combat that much, and would much rather have the opportunity to gather resources or playing the storyline as the main objective. I personally enjoy the combat now that I've gotten the hang of it. But the animation still makes it a little too complicated to actually be fully enjoyable

Also, I had knew working on a complicated timers to control the battle system is hard for them just now.
I just telling the truth and hope this game can be stronger and stronger by days. And in the future it would be perfect.

I agree. I just wanted to add to what I got from your description. Didn't mean to sound harsh towards the devs. There's just some things that could be better on that front. But I'm a problem solver, so I've found workarounds. The dungeons works pretty great already, yet there still some room for improvements hollyheart

The reason I talk on the physics in dungeons is I had see many monster would "disappear" sometime, and I found (monsters) they're being kicked or attacked to an invisible place or out of the field, or to the air and coudn't fall down later. Maybe this also looks buggy.

There's long roadmap to go and hope it would be better in future version.

I've noticed monsters occasionally placing themselves in corners or up in the air. Hope they'll look into it when they have the time 🙏
