DLC after update and new save file question. Possible bug? | Fae Farm | Page 1

Hi! I haven't played the game in a long time but since the update added more time to the day clock I decided to pick it back up. The last time I played was for the frog DLC and I got the conch thing to help call them? I don't remember it very well.

Anyway I started a new save file and just went to the frog area and the guy says "welcome back" instead of acting like it's my first time visiting him like he should. And he's acting like he already gave me the conch which he has not on this save file.

What do I do??

I had this issue, I went back and talked to the frog that has the portal in its month to complete that quest and then it allowed me to talk to get the conch.
