I am having problems with 2 quests which cannot be completed. First one is the “Wave of Emotion”…I have waved to my animals for 3 days now, but it still remains open. Second is the Purchase a trinket from Lem. I cannot because Cleo has not given me the quest to go to the mines, and the trinkets need gems. Also, I cannot build anything because I need the ore and gems from the mines. Am I missing something? Thanks.

The Wave of Emotion quest is bugged and devs are aware and it will be fixed next update. It doesn't stop you from moving on in the game tho. For the Cleo quest, I'm not sure what would be the issue. It's a story quest, what's the current story quest you are on?
