Final Achievement/Patel's Job quest

Please tell me I'm not the only one who has created every color of animal and still can't unlock this achievement. I just want to be done playing this game, I'm so frustrated.
Stuck at 19/20 even though I have made every color of animal. Twice now probably.

I saw in another thread someone got the achievement when they realized they’d never done the base color for some animal.

not possible, I've kept a log and made each animal twice, as I stated above.

Try starting with a fresh stock animal and breed only base colors?

Yeah, we are talking about base colors that are being missed. Not charm colors.

Wait you have to breed each of your animals the base color first??

You don’t necessarily have to do it first, but they must be done for the achievement.

You need to breed all the base colors and then the 14 charms. Pink + Pink = 1 not 2

I too am stuck here and have bred all animals all colors. Gunna try breeding with no charms and see if I can finally get this last job quest done

This worked! I was worried at first but as I went through all six creatures it finally happened! I made sure to return to Patel and collect the reward, and when I went to sleep that night the final achievement I was missing popped! It is possible to obtain, good luck!

I'm sure someone will correct me if i am wrong but i think this is a difference between playing on the Switch or on PC. If you are playing on the Switch there is only the job quest achievements. on the PC I know with games i have played in the past depending on where you buy it from for example steam they have a separate set of achievements for the player to achieve.

I think you may be right on that, @slow briar . Steam seems to have their own set of achievements.

Even when breeding for colored animals I had base colors come up while trying so this didn’t help me.

Oh idk.. No one’s said anything like that before until now. I just heard the graphics differences that’s all but you could be right because I have not a clue lol..

Switch doesn’t support achievements so if that’s a big deal for you, maybe don’t pick Switch

O i know that. I'm not to bothered by the achievements. it was bought on the switch for my girlfriend to play and i ended up getting sucked in. Tbh its probably a good thing its on the switch otherwise i would be obsessing even more over completing everything lol.

I have an apology to make. It's only just come to my attention that on the switch they do have other achievement after the job quests.
By pushing R on the job quests it has rewards. And that is an extra. Been completing them with out realising then Thinking the lit up question mark was a bug! 🤦🤦

Any tips on making a different color spriggan? I’v bred it 6x already & always with a charm and im still getting the original color. I’m doing Patel’s quest. Now I’m wondering if I miss something or what.

Yeah I'm never coming here again to ask for any kind of help. This isn't a place to ask questions, it's to be sent in circles.

Apparently, for me, the "issue" was that the colour i did for breeding a different colour (Tan, copper ingot) Job didn't register for the 20 colours

So I had to breed an animal into the Tan colour again and it registered

I had an issue with Tan not counting as well

I don’t know if you’ve got this to work or not. I tried breeding a spriggan for almost an in-game year before it “worked”. It was tugging on my patience 😆

All this frustration would be solved if they just added an achievement tracker for what animal colours you have bred. You can track all the other achievements through the almanac, why not this one? The one that takes the most time and resources!?!?! It’s like the devs giggled evilly over this one. The frustration is real.

My animal breeding count went from 15 to 14 and then back to fifteen for some funny reason, so its definetly bugged which will hopefully be fixed soon.

I've stated even in my first reply I have kept a log, and have bred each color minimum twice, if not three times. I don't know why I bother to check replies here.

From what I read, it could be the tan charm. When trying to find my issue several people have stated they think it's bugged as they had to do the tan several times for it to finally register perhaps that is the issue with yours? On a side note congrats on getting to 19 as I'm stuck on 12, no matter what charm or animal I use it does not work.

I thought so too. But I sold all my base farm animals and started from complete scratch. It was a chickapoo that I was missing, just a plain ol highest happiness level chickapoo.
