Since the dialogue of the NPC’s is very limited, it makes it hard to build a connection. While I love that it doesn’t force me to build relationships, and I can spend my day farming/mining/crafting. However, when I have time to talk to the npcs it’s very… empty? If I want to romance in the game it makes the limited selection very bland. Especially because some of the npc’s are adorable, quirky, it sucks I can’t romance them.
I know some people prefer it this way so maybe we can have an option to customize it to our own preferences;
1.) romance characters on/off to choose if you even want that
2.) character depth on/off so if you prefer to have the NPC dialogue to be similar to what it is now you can turn it off, and if you want something with more depth you can turn it on.
